Vivek Ramaswamy, a first-generation American, is a New York Times bestselling author and a successful entrepreneur who has founded multiple enterprises.
According to his bio, Mr. Ramaswamy emerged as a prominent commentator on stakeholder capitalism, free speech, and woke culture in 2020. He has authored numerous articles and op-eds, which have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, National Review, Newsweek, and Harvard Business Review.

In 2021, Mr. Ramaswamy wrote a book titled “Woke INC,” which describes how a “stakeholder capitalism” robs Americans of their money, voice, and identity.

In his interview with The New American, Mr. Ramaswamy said that the “woke culture” threatens the very essence of America. That threat was created and institutionalized by what Mr. Ramaswamy calls a “woke industrial complex” — a merger between the corporations and the government. Foreign anti-American forces, such as Communist China, are strongly influencing the corporations to be “woke,” he added.

To fight against this monster, conservative powers in America need to reconsider a dogma that the free market can do no wrong.

Political beliefs, he also proposed, should be considered civil rights and protected accordingly.

Mr. Ramaswamy noted that American private sector should stand for the fundamental American values and move the cultural pendulum back.
