God, Family, Country | Fidelity Month and Cultural Restoration

Arkansas’ Republican Governor Sarah Huckabee San­ders gave “Pride Month” the boot by declaring this past June to be “Fidelity Month” in her state. It’s her way of “cultivating fidelity to God, family, community, and country,” she said.

The Kentucky Senate and Michigan House of Representatives also acted. U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) had earlier introduced a related Senate resolution, and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has publicly endorsed the concept.

Republican Governor Spencer Cox of Utah somewhat surprisingly added his voice, having previously signed three annual declarations that celebrated sodomy. Utah’s 2026 pronouncement explained his flip, citing a recent poll of Americans finding that support for traditional values has “significantly declined.”
