Are we all “conspiracy theorists” now? The Epstein files, it would seem, have made us so. They have opened a window that leaves us peering into the pits of hell. The millions of released files reveal horrific references to murder, rape, torture, cannibalism, strangulation, sadomasochism, child sex trafficking, child ritual sacrifice, eugenics, and transhumanism experimentation. The most sensational speculations concerning these references have yet to be proven, but the trail of victims and evidence is so immense, and Jeffrey Epstein’s network of associates and co-conspirators so astonishingly prominent, as to be literally jaw-dropping.

How could this have happened here in America? How could it have happened for so long and on such a horrendous scale without anyone in power doing anything to expose and stop him? Jeffrey Epstein was not some mere lone, sociopathic serial killer like Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer; he was an advisor, confidant, procurer, and pal to the rich and famous, the high and mighty: presidents, prime ministers, potentates, bankers, business titans, and billionaires. He enjoyed unparalleled access to the inner sanctums of Wall Street, Hollywood, Buckingham Palace, the White House, Silicon Valley, Ivy League universities, and other corridors of privilege and power.

Among “the great and the good” mentioned multiple times in the Epstein files we find the former Prince Andrew (now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, having been stripped of his royal titles); U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump; former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell; former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson; former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak; World Economic Forum president and CEO Borge Brende; Harvard University professor and former U.S. Treasury Secretary Larry Summers; and a veritable Who’s Who of eminent academics, journalists, and other assorted public figures.

L’Affaire Epstein bespeaks a colossal crime-and-corruption network that bestrides the globe and reaches into the highest levels of institutional power. The same conspiratorial network has, until now, successfully covered up its unspeakable crimes, silenced or “dis-appeared” its victims, and squelched investigations and prosecutions. And it appears that, long after Epstein’s 2019 death, the same network is continuing efforts to “contain” and dissipate the public furor and impatience over official stonewalling and coverup.

“Conspiracy-pilling Everybody”

The Jeffrey Epstein case has broken the Overton window. And the anointed arbiters of acceptable discourse in the regime thought cartel are apoplectic over it. “The Epstein files are conspiracy-pilling everybody,” wailed the title of a March 2, 2026 article at Salon. The New York Times echoed the charge with “The Epstein Scandal Has Reached the Far-Right Meme Stage,” a March 26 op-ed that fulminated over “fringe conspiracy theorists.”

Thirty years ago, we opened our “Conspiracy for Global Control” special issue with a quote from an article by Ira Straus in the Christian Science Monitor. “Conspiracy theory is doing America real harm,” Straus declared. “The U.S. is threatened by Americans who believe Washington is part of a plot to enslave us in a ‘New World Order,’” he declared. “It irration­alizes thinking on every issue,” he continued. “It kills. It turns millions of Americans against their own country. It undermines foreign policy by vilifying our government’s every effort.” This was in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing, and the Clinton crime cabal and their media mob confederates were doing everything possible to insinuate into the public mind the idea that patriotic constitutionalists were actually dangerous “anti-government” fanatics and “ideational conspirators” along with Timothy McVeigh.

The Fake News echo chamber has repeated the Strausian lethal conspiracy theory trope hundreds of times over recent decades. This has made a huge psychological impact. How many times have you heard a media commentator, interviewee on a talk show, or someone you know begin a conversation with “I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but...,” before continuing with what should be considered a perfectly legitimate comment or opinion about excessive government regulation, George Soros funding radical NGOs, Covid lockdowns, forever foreign wars, omnipresent surveillance cameras, transhumanism, the migration tsunami, the United Nations and World Economic Forum, or any of dozens of other important issues? But no more; millions have had their blinders removed. And the release of the Epstein files is but the beginning of the awakening process.

Behind the Façade

A 2018 Monmouth poll found that 74 percent of Americans then believed a Deep State — defined as unelected government officials secretly directing national policy — probably or definitely exists. Media critics bewail such findings, which have been dittoed in other surveys. These “alarming” levels of belief in conspiracy theories have put our “Uniparty” ruling classes in perpetual panic mode.

Yes, there is indeed a sinister Deep State that operates behind and above the façade of constitutional government and so-called free institutions of media, business, and academia that too many Americans have blindly taken for granted for too long. And just to be clear, we are not talking about UFOs, alien reptilian shape-shifters, Hollow Earth, time travel, or other such tripe dispensed by David Icke, Stewart Swerdlow, Credo Mutwa, and other similar charlatans. It is easy to see why they are cited so frequently by those who are obsessed with “debunking” evidence-based conspiracy reality; they are convenient straw men who provide ridiculously concocted fantasies that are easily spoofed and shot down.

And yet, conspiracies are real; just check your local news. Prosecutions for conspiracy in drug trafficking, human trafficking, terrorism, racketeering, fraud, and many other crimes are common. Federal prosecutors have filed thousands of conspiracy charges in recent years. State prosecutors have filed thousands more. According to “Federal Conspiracy Law: A Brief Overview,” a report produced by the Congression­al Research Service (CRS), “The essence of conspiracy is an agreement of two or more persons to engage in some form of prohibited conduct.” “Federal conspiracy laws rest on the belief that criminal schemes are equally or more reprehensible than are the substantive offenses to which they are devoted,” the CRS report continues. Further, it notes, “The Supreme Court has explained that a ‘collective criminal agreement — [a] partnership in crime — presents a greater potential threat to the public than individual delicts. Concerted action both increases the likelihood that the criminal object will be successfully attained and decreases the probability that the individuals involved will depart from their path of criminality.’”

In the famous 1951 atom-bomb conspiracy trial of Soviet agents Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, Judge Irving R. Kaufman explained, “From the point of view of the law there is danger to the public when two or more people conspire to do something that is unlawful because by virtue of the aggregation of numbers the intent assumes a more formidable disadvantageous aspect to the public.” The truth of this view is plainly obvious in the cases of the Mafia, drug cartels, and other organized-crime syndicates that carry out horrendous atrocities and wreak havoc on societies. It is also especially true with regard to the communist conspiracy, of which the sensational spy case before Judge Kaufman was one small part. Amazingly, there was at the time of that trial, and there remains today, a large swath of the intellectual and academic ecosphere that insists that the whole idea of a communist conspiracy is a figment of the paranoid right-wing imagination.

How can this be, since Vladimir Lenin himself, the idol of all communists worldwide whose waxen body is still on worshipful display in Moscow’s Red Square, has said that conspiracy is the utmost essence of communism? In one of his best-known works, What Is to Be Done?, Lenin confirmed with his words what was obvious from his deeds: “According to its form a strong revolutionary organization ... may also be described as a conspirative organization ... and we must have the utmost conspiracy for an organization of that kind. Secrecy is such a necessary condition ... that all the other conditions (number, and selection of members, functions, etc.) must all be subordinated to it.”

More importantly, the evidentiary rec­ord is devastatingly clear. Over the past three decades, we have gotten access to reams of previously classified documents from the Soviet KGB archives and Soviet Comintern archives, as well as archives of the FBI, CIA, and National Security Agency. They confirm that the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) was financially dependent on the Soviet Union and illegally received millions of dollars from the Kremlin through paymasters such as William Weiner, Stanley Levinson, and American industrialist Armand Hammer. They also show that the CPUSA slavishly followed Moscow’s orders, often flip-flopping 180 degrees on command (as in the case of opposing, then supporting, then opposing Hitler during the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact period). This became known as “zig-zag parallelism,” demonstrating that the CPUSA was a completely subservient agent of a foreign power, not merely another American political party, as the communists claimed. Further, there is no question that both open and secret CPUSA members were involved in criminal activities, from espionage, theft, smuggling, and illegal immigration to counterfeiting passports and other identity documents.

Nevertheless, we are told today by “progressives” that there is not, and never was, any such thing as a communist conspiracy. In fact, as historians Harvey Klehr and John Earl Haynes document in their 2003 book In Denial: Historians, Communism & Espionage, it is the pro-communist ideologues who rule the roost in the history and political science departments of our colleges and universities. No matter that the body count of communist regimes easily exceeds 100 million and that these regimes have always nakedly exemplified the oppressive prison-state totalitarianism that “liberals” and “progressives” claim to abhor. Willfully, obstinately ignoring all of that, the true believers of our Marxist professoriat march ever leftward, as if to the trill of the communist anthem, “The Internationale.” According to Klehr and Haynes, “beginning in the late 1960s, the study of American communism was taken over by ‘revisionist’ historians who attempted to portray the United States as the aggressor in the Cold War and saw the American Communist Party (CPUSA) as an admirable force for promoting democratic values.”

Academe went not only pro-communist, but also even more virulently anti-anti-communist; “McCarthyism,” the revisionists insist, is the Original Sin from which there is no redemption. This was the Kremlin’s party line. Nikita Khrushchev and the Soviet Politburo commanded the worldwide representatives of the “81 Communist and Workers’ Parties” meeting in Moscow in 1960 to “wage a resolute struggle against anti-communism.” The CPUSA obediently responded with venomous attacks in its press organs on the communists’ primary target, The John Birch Society. What astonished most observers was that almost identical attacks began appearing in a torrent of bombardments in the non-communist Establishment press. This was a replay of the media and academic attacks on America’s anti-communist allies such as Chiang Kai-shek and Senator Joseph McCarthy years before.

Enemies Without and Within

It was becoming clear to many Americans that the communist threat that was advancing in our own country and in one nation after another across the globe was emanating not only from Moscow, but also from New York City and Washington, D.C. There was an enemy within as well as without. The enemy within held high positions in government, industry, banking, philanthropy, and the media. For the most part, they could not be identified as communists. In fact, many were uber-wealthy capitalists who sometimes even professed to be anti-communists. However, they invariably assisted the communists and attacked the genuine anti-communists. Moreover, they perennially supported legislation, regulations, and policies that continuously undermined our national sovereignty and our constitutional checks and balances, and that steadily moved our nation down the road toward a more centralized, socialist system of technocratic control. Also, like the communists, these “capitalists” supported moves toward a one-world government. That included, especially, increasing empowerment of the United Nations and other regional international bodies.

The United Nations, viewed by many Americans as at worst a benign but ineffectual forum for adjudicating world conflicts, was in fact designed by socialists and communists (like infamous Soviet agent Alger Hiss) to be the framework for an eventual world government. Knowing that a socialist world government could never be achieved by overt conquest, globalist elites — political, financial, and academic — devised a plan to bring about world government gradually, by installment plan. The United Nations, with its two deliberative chambers (the General Assembly and the Security Council) looks very much like a government because it is intended to become such over time. And the United Nations itself is merely the center of a sprawling system of globalist institutions, including the likes of UNESCO, the World Health Organization, the World Trade Organization, the International Criminal Court, the International Monetary Fund, NATO, and regional government arrangements such as the European Union, that all uphold the UN and its Charter as the global authority of last resort.

The UN system has been working for decades to globalize all government and financial power, with concerted attempts to create a global military force, a global tax system, a global bank and currency unit, a global police force, a global system of internet censorship, and a global legislative system, among other things, all of which would, eventually, supersede the authority of national and local governments. And while many Americans remain skeptical that such a thing could ever happen, the power of the UN system has been greatly enlarged in recent decades, as evidenced, for example, by the power of the global climate gestapo. Operating under the authority of UN accords such as the Paris Agreement, UN authorities have succeeded in utterly transforming laws and societal norms, and not for the better. Thanks to the UN-sponsored climate agenda, there is now being carried out a massive socialist redistribution of wealth from developed to poor countries (so-called Loss and Damage payments), all in the name of climate equity. New taxes such as Canada’s infamous carbon tax are oppressing citizenries worldwide, all at the behest of UN climate protocols. And new global taxes are about to be imposed for the first time on shipping, also by UN authorities and using carbon emissions controls as a pretext.

All this is just a drop in the bucket of the UN’s nefarious activities, which space does not permit us to detail further. However, we have documented them extensively in other issues of The New American, including our special issue of July 2025, which was wholly dedicated to the United Nations (see ad on inside back cover). Suffice it here to say that the United Nations, including its dozens of affiliates, is the pet project of the conspiracy for global control, and has brought the world nearer to the dystopian world government of globalists’ dreams than ever before. And despite its public image of transparency and benevolence, the United Nations is actually the tool of conspiratorial malefactors who take pains to conceal the organization’s real purpose.

Former FBI agent and constitutionalist scholar Dan Smoot called this shadowy behind-the-scenes power “The Invisible Government” in his 1962 book bearing that title. John Birch Society founder Robert Welch referred to these globalist subversives as the Insiders. These Insiders operate through organ­izations such as the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission (TC), the Royal Institute of International Affairs, and the World Economic Forum, but these are merely the public faces, the recruiting grounds, and the transmission belts for a higher, more hidden circle of power. The CFR has successfully planted its members inside all branches of our federal government, as well as in major corporations, think tanks, foundations, NGOs, and other institutions. (See our extensive lists and charts on pages 42-51.) It exemplifies the mysterious force that “conspiracists” call the Deep State. The Deep State didn’t begin with Jeffrey Epstein; the CFR has been around for more than a century. The New American (and its predecessor publications American Opinion and The Review of the News) has been chronicling and exposing the Deep State for the better part of seven decades. Throughout that time, we have endured sustained, withering blasts by the “mainstream” press and bipartisan barrages from the controlled politicians falsely charging us with being “conspiracy theorists,” “extremists,” “fascists,” “antisemites,” and “racists” — all for daring, like the dog Toto in The Wizard of Oz, to expose the men of Oz pulling the levers behind the curtain.

Globalist-communist Convergence

There are a number of key Deep State Insiders and organizations that especially stand out in the Epstein files but have been somewhat obscured by the attention focused on the more sensational and titillating content. In our limited space here we will focus on three of the most important: David Rockefeller, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Trilateral Commission. Interestingly (but not surprisingly), the Wikipedia entry for Jeffrey Epstein does not mention any of these.

For much of the 20th century and until his death in 2017, David Rockefeller was the kingmaker nonpareil in American politics and global affairs. Known as the “Chairman of the Establishment,” he chaired the Council on Foreign Relations from 1970-1985 and served as CFR honorary chairman, as well as chairman of its international advisory board, up to his death. It is hardly an exaggeration to say that the CFR has become the unofficial government of the United States, in large measure due to the machinations of David Rockefeller. The ultimate objective, as stated many times in CFR speeches and writings, is a “New World Order” under a world government, now euphemistically referred to as “global governance,” a softer-sounding term for the same thing. This is why these internationalists, or “globalists,” have been laboring assiduously for the past century to undermine national sovereignty and build first the League of Nations and then the United Nations into a full-fledged world government with legislative, executive, and judicial powers.

In 1973, Rockefeller founded the Trilateral Commission, a smaller, even more elite organization than the CFR that was particularly focused on bringing together top movers and shakers from the United States, Europe, and Japan. (It has since expanded to include Communist China and Asia in general.) In 1995, Rockefeller brought Jeffrey Epstein in as a member of both the CFR and TC, thus providing him with credentials and access to rarefied circles of power and enabling him to gather sexual kompromat on leading individuals within high echelons of politics, business, diplomacy, and finance. It is worth noting that Rockefeller was for many years chairman of the Chase Manhattan Bank, and after retirement was a member of the bank’s advisory board that approved its merger with J.P. Morgan, creating JPMorgan Chase, the principal enabler of Epstein’s predations.

On August 10, 1973, Rockefeller penned one of the most appalling op-eds ever to appear in The New York Times — which is saying a lot, considering the Times’ atrocious, century-long record of pumping out lies, misinformation, disinformation, and subversive propaganda.

Rockefeller, “the world’s leading capitalist,” representing the Chase Manhattan Bank and CFR, had just returned from a VIP tour of China, which was then in the latter throes of Mao Zedong’s murderous Cultural Revolution that had claimed the lives of millions of Chinese. In his piece, prosaically titled “From a China Traveler,” the top American bankster declared:

One is impressed immediately by the sense of national harmony. From the loud patriotic music at the border onward, there is very real and pervasive dedication to Chairman Mao and Maoist principles. Whatever the price of the Chinese Revolution, it has obviously succeeded not only in producing more efficient and dedicated administration, but also in fostering high morale and community of purpose.

Rockefeller complimented “the remarkable thoughtfulness of our hosts,” and summed up his travelogue thusly: “The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao’s leadership is one of the most important and successful in human history.”

The “social experiment” of the Butcher of Beijing, who was responsible for the deaths (by torture, starvation, and execution) of as many as 77 million Chinese, was “one of the most important and successful in human history”? Astonishing! And absolutely abhorrent. Rockefeller’s China trip occurred 24 months after his agent Henry Kissin­ger had completed his then-secret (but now famous) mission to China to set up our rapprochement with the communist regime. Rockefeller’s trip signaled the go-ahead to the Wall Street corporatists to begin the wholesale transfer of America’s manufacturing base and technological supremacy to its mortal enemy.

It may seem supremely ironic to many observers that ultra-rich capitalists such as Rockefeller, George Soros, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Edmond de Rothschild,David Rubenstein, Ray Dalio, Larry Fink, Stephen Schwarz­man, Donald Sussman, Michael Bloomberg, Maurice Strong, Charles and David Koch, Albert Bourla, Maurice Greenberg, and Charlie Munger would be sympathetic to the system of Mao Zedong, Xi Jinping, and the steel-fisted rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). But for the past six dec­ades, they and their ilk have proven to be not only sympathetic to, but enthusiastic promoters of the Beijing brand, ignoring completely the national security dangers, economic devastation, dependency, and human-rights issues. Through the US-China Business Council, World Economic Forum, and similar groups, they have pushed not only for full-throttled aid and trade with the CCP, but also for ever-increasing integration and merger of our economies, institutions, and cultures.

Throughout the past six decades, the “Wise Men” of the CFR (as their paid flacks have christened them) have argued that our aid to China will make them our ally against Soviet Russia. We have repeatedly disputed and refuted that suicidal insanity. We are right; they are wrong. Treacherously, traitorously wrong. American taxpayers have paid trillions of dollars — and now are paying $1 trillion per year — for defense. Against whom? Against a Communist Chinese military that we have built with our money and technology. And against a Communist China that is completely tied — militarily, politically, economically, scientifically, and technologically — to Russia. And even now, President Trump has flip-flopped and agreed to sell Xi Jinping the advanced Nvidia microprocessor chips that will enable the Chinese military to leapfrog their own limitations and once again make advances that cancel out the advantages that we spent billions of dollars on research and development to gain.

Yes, friends, we are dealing with conspiracy reality, not conspiracy theory. We are in an all-out war for hearts and minds. We — you, me, all of us — are swimming in a sea of indoctrination, lies, disinformation, and propaganda every day of our lives. Even those of us who have recognized the regime media as “Fake News” for decades cannot claim to be immune to the incessant media onslaught to which we are being subjected. This is why we must consciously, diligently fortify our minds and hearts against the assault of deceit and degeneracy by seeking truth, speaking truth, and taking a stand — while there is still time.

The Insiders know that their mendacious media hacks have been dumped by tens of millions of Americans for alternative, independent voices, and their paid political knaves are daily being exposed for the miscreants that they are, which is why they are so frantically sowing confusion and smearing all who are exposing them. They fear our awakening. We are proud of the crucial role we have been allowed to play in this process. We intend to boldly keep it up. This special “Conspiracy” issue of The New American has been prepared to help millions of Americans “connect the dots” and gain an understanding of the forces working for our destruction.
