Trump Ends Abusive, Anti-White “Racial Sensitivity Training” in Federal Bureaucracy

If you’ve been subjected to mandatory “training” in which you’ve had to say you “benefit from racism,” were told that “hard work” reflects a destructive “white male culture,” or were forced to write a letter of apology to “marginalized” people, know that it won’t happen again. Not if you’re a government worker anyway — and not as long as President Trump is in office.

The change was announced by Office of Management and Budget director Russell Vought in a Friday memorandum in which he wrote that the president has directed him “to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions.”

Vought took to Twitter later Friday to publicize the decision:

 

 

For Trump’s part, he called the anti-American propaganda — euphemistically termed “Critical Race Theory” — an intolerable “sickness” in a Saturday tweet (below).

 

 

If this sounds hyperbolic, know that a report last month by visiting Heritage Foundation fellow Christopher Rufo vindicates Trump’s assessment. Writing about indoctrination exposed at Sandia National Laboratories, Rufo tells us that the trainers insisted “that white males must ‘work hard to understand’ their ‘white privilege,’ ‘male privilege,’ and ‘heterosexual privilege’” (despite white males being the primary group against which it’s still legal to discriminate). 

Moreover, participants were told they must expose the “roots of white male culture,” which consist “of ‘rugged individualism,’ ‘a can-do attitude,’ ‘hard work,’ and ‘striving towards success’ — which sound good, but are in fact ‘devastating’ to women and POCs,” Rufo further informs.

Note also that this training, which is prevalent in schools and workplaces as well, sometimes even characterizes punctuality as reflecting “white culture.” In other words, virtues (universal “good moral habits” applicable to everyone) that lead to success — such as hope, diligence, and fortitude — are being demonized as some race-specific peculiarity.

It’s just an updated version of the “acting white” put down good black students may hear from their slacker fellows, cloaked with the pseudo-intellectual veneer an academic imprimatur provides. The difference is, now everyone is being told that success-breeding habits constitute a defect.

To wit, the “trainers claim that ‘white male culture’ leads to ‘lowered quality of life at work and home, reduced life expectancy, unproductive relationships, and high stress,’” Rufo relates. “It also forces this ‘white male standard’ on women and minorities.”

Later in the seminar, Rufo also writes, “the white males must publicly recite a series of ‘white privilege statements’ and ‘male privilege statements.’ They must accept their complicity in the white male system and their role in creating oppressions.”

“Finally, as the reeducation camp concludes, the white males must write letters ‘directed to white women, people of color, and other groups regarding the meaning of this Caucus experience,’” Rufo continues. “They apologize for their ‘privilege’ and pledge to become ‘better [allies].’”

So now it should be apparent why Director Vought said this training was contrary to the American spirit and engendered “division and resentment” (full memorandum below).

Not only is the Trump administration’s banning of the anti-white propaganda a right and necessary move, but it’s a political winner. In fact, it “virtually invites pushback from the Democrats’ ticket and their media allies, and that’s a battle they can’t win,” opines American Thinker’s editor-in-chief Thomas Lifson.

“The only people who like the ‘anti-racism’ training are the consultants who make out like bandits [one billed the feds for $5 million], and the executives who order them foisted on their helpless employees, thereby proactively defending against charges of racism and potential litigation,” Lifson explains. “The obnoxious anti-White struggle sessions are right out of China’s Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution and, when exposed to the light of day, are indefensible. Ask Goodyear.

Nonetheless, Lifson also states that the Left’s arrogance and Trump Derangement Syndrome would ensure they’d defend the indefensible. And, sure enough and on cue, CNN published the following headline mere hours after his prediction: “Critical race theory: Trump bars ‘propaganda’ training sessions on race in latest overture to his base.”

If people opposed to such anti-American training were the president’s base, he’d win reelection with perhaps 80 percent of the vote. Even many rank-and-file Democrats, after all, feel offended and put upon when subjected to critical-race-theory abuse masquerading as enlightenment.

Chinese philosopher and The Art of War author Sun Tzu wrote that when contending with an adversary, “the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.” The arena of Democrat weaknesses is now a target-rich environment, with examples being advocacy of police and ICE abolishment, free healthcare for illegals, and putting boys in girls’ bathrooms and sports (i.e., the “transgender” agenda). But anti-white/American, how-to-breed-a-loser training is a major weakness, and it should be exposed, mercilessly, for what it is: the Devil’s and the Democrats’ handiwork.

If that appears an extreme statement, well, anything counseling against virtue sure isn’t of the Light.
