David Campbell Bannerman, widely known as “DCB,” served as a British Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the East of England, representing Cambridge from 2009 to 2019 under the Conservative Party banner. A staunch advocate for Brexit, Mr. Campbell Bannerman played a pivotal role in advocating for a referendum and authored the book “Time to Jump” in 2013, articulating the case for Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union. He previously held positions such as Deputy Leader to UKIP Leader Nigel Farage and Party Chairman of UKIP. Actively engaged in the Brexit Referendum, he chaired the Contact Group comprising all pro-Leave campaigns and groups. David deeply appreciates Europe and its nations and adamantly opposes the establishment of an undemocratic, autocratic, and unaccountable EU Superstate. He continues his involvement in politics as the chairman of both the Freedom Association and the Conservative Democratic Association (CDO).

In his interview with The New American, the seasoned politician delves into the advantages the U.K. has experienced post-Brexit, particularly in the domain of international trade.
