Judge Sentences Indian Illegal Alien to Less Than 5 Years for Triple-fatality Wreck
The far-left judicial clown show that imperils the lives of Americans continued in California this week with the sentencing of Jashanpreet Singh, the Indian illegal alien who killed three people with his tractor-trailer in October.
Judge Shannon Faherty, of the Superior Court of San Bernardino County, decided Singh’s erasing the lives of three people wasn’t all that bad. Her sentence: Less than five years for three counts of felony vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Singh is 21. When he’s about 26, he’ll be out, and possibly back on the road again. Despite a detainer by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, sanctuary California might well release him. And if ICE catches him, a far-left judge will likely block his deportation, just as a far-left federal judge recently released a Cuban hijacker held by ICE.

The Wreck
Dashcam video of the crash in Ontario, California, on October 22 showed the beturbaned Third World “migrant’s” 18-wheeler plow into a white SUV, then into a white work pickup, and then into another 18-wheeler, then, in flames, careen to the right and smash into yet another semi on the side of the highway.
Killed in the wreck were former Pomona High School assistant basketball coach Clarence Nelson; his wife, Lisa; and another unfortunate victim.
Singh was plastered when he wrecked.
The Department of Homeland Security quickly revealed that the Biden administration caught the Indian illegal at the border but released him into the country in 2022. Thus, then-Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and President Joe Biden are partly responsible for the triple vehicular homicide.
Frighteningly, California gave Singh a commercial driver’s license (CDL) with federal permission. Worse, that license was a REAL ID.
It also emerged that Singh could not speak English. He needed an interpreter when he pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter-DUI charge, a plea he later changed to guilty, which led to yesterday’s sentencing.
“A witness told the outlet that he heard what sounded like an explosion as Singh’s red semi-truck sped toward stopped traffic,” the New York Post reported:
“It didn’t stop. It didn’t swerve. It didn’t make any kind of maneuvers. It just went straight in,” Jason Calmelat said.
While traffic on the freeway slowed down before the wreck, “Singh’s truck did not stop before setting off the deadly chain reaction, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol said,” the Post continued:
“The truck rolled and veered to the right into the embankment, and I saw the truck drive[r] jump out because it was on fire,” Calmelat added.
Insufficient Sentence
Though Singh could have landed a 10-spot in prison, Faherty, like many female judges, apparently thought being an illegal alien, driving an 18-wheel truck without a command of English, and then slaughtering three innocent Americans wasn’t all that big a deal.
Singh’s sentence: Four years, eight months. That’s about a year and a half for each killing.
“The judge also took into account that he has no criminal history and that the crash was not believed to be intentional,” CBS News reported.
Strangely, many news outlets did not identify Faherty. The Hindustan Times did, as did The Gateway Pundit.
In just a couple of years, thanks to Faherty, Singh could well be back behind the wheel, drunkenly careening down an interstate in another 80,000-pound 18-wheeler.
ICE’s deporting him is not guaranteed, as another judge’s decision recently showed.
Cuban Hijacker Freed
Faherty’s sentencing mirrors a decision on July 8 from U.S. District Judge John E. Steele of Florida’s Middle District, appointed by President Bill Clinton.
Steele ordered the release of Cuban illegal Maikel Guerra Morales, who served a 25-year prison sentence for hijacking a plane in Cuba and forcing the pilot to fly to Key West.
ICE took custody of Morales in December upon his release from prison.
But Steele was Johnny-on-the-Spot with an order to spring him from custody.
“After completing his prison sentence, Guerra Morales was placed in removal proceedings,” Newsweek reported:
An immigration judge ordered him removed but granted him protection under the Convention Against Torture, deferring his removal to Cuba. ICE released him under an order of supervision on March 1, 2023.
The agency arrested him again on December 30, 2025, after determining that it intended to remove him to Mexico.
Judge Steele noted that Guerra Morales had been held for more than six months since his re-arrest and said the government had failed to provide evidence that Mexico had agreed to accept him.…
“The Government cannot lock individuals in a cell indefinitely as a workaround for a stalled deportation process,” Steele wrote.
Should ICE finally get permission from the leftist judiciary to deport Morales, it will have to find him. Chances are, Morales won’t want to be found. And even if ICE does find him, he can keep his case going in the courts for years.
Previous Indian Illegal’s Wreck
Harjinder Singh is another border-jumping Indian involved in a three-fatality wreck, police allege. They say he illegally made a U-turn on Florida’s Sunshine State Turnpike on August 14, 2025.
This cultural enricher failed an English proficiency test after that crash. Yet, frighteningly, he held CDLs from two states, California and Washington.
He jumped the border in September 2018. Border Patrol arrested him. Donald Trump’s first administration set him up for removal, but he concocted the usual cock-and-bull story about fearing to return home.
The boobs at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) “affirmed the fear via a positive finding of fear, and he was released on a $5,000 immigration bond in January 2019 after being given a Notice to Appear,” Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported. “He has remained in immigration proceedings ever since.”
