“Muslim Only” Day at Taxpayer-funded Texas Waterpark, Touting “Islamic Values,” Sparks Outrage

The Muslim Brotherhood once outlined a plan that “involved softening America through cultural influence, political infiltration, and demographic expansion,” as one ex-Muslim observer related it. And now critics have an Exhibit A in the cultural-influence department.

To celebrate the Islamic holiday Eid, there’ll be an event originally billed as “Muslims Only” at a taxpayer-funded Texas waterpark.

After a backlash, the organizer changed the messaging to, “modest dress only” and added “all are welcome” to celebrate Eid. But here’s the kicker:

However the event is framed, it appears legal.

The Daily Mail reported on the story Monday, writing:

Epic Waters in Grand Prairie, Texas drew outrage this week as it released fliers for the June 1 event, which will demand a ‘modest dress code’ and serve only Halal-slaughtered meat.

Posters for the event say it will be ‘for Muslims only’ to create a ‘family-friendly environment’, with tickets starting at $55 each.

The waterpark’s website notes that men and women will not be separated during the event, but attendees are told to ‘uphold Islamic etiquette’ by ‘lowering the gaze’ throughout the day.

‘Please follow the event’s modest dress code, and practice ḥayāʾ (modesty) through respectful behavior,’ the event says.

All attendees are ‘expected to dress in accordance with Islamic values’, and the waterpark says all swimwear must meet Muslim guidelines.

… Epic Waters, which is funded by an additional sales tax on Grand Prairie residents, included on the event a list of suggested swimwear for women.

Now, a good dose of modesty (as Westerners once exhibited) would do America good. The exclusionary Islamic package deal this dose is coming with, however, has raised eyebrows and ire. As the Mail also informs:

The event was criticized across social media, with many questioning if a taxpayer-funded space is allowed to exclude certain demographics from its events.

Conservative commentator and radio host Dana Loesch led the backlash, questioning: ‘How is a taxpayer-funded, city-owned entity allowed to discriminate against non-Muslims at a public water park?’

Loesch added: ‘There would be literal riots if Muslims were similarly excluded and we all know that’s 100% accurate.’

Another critic, podcaster Sarah Gonzales, posted to X an image of the original Eid event poster (below).

Loesch’s question as to how this is allowed has a good answer. As the founder and editor-in-chief of activist organization the RAIR Foundation, Amy Mek, explained on X:

The organizers can say “Muslim-only” because they are hosting a private event on rented property.

The city/waterpark isn’t required to (and doesn’t) police the religious preferences of every private group that rents the space.

If the park refused to rent to them because they are Muslim, that would likely be illegal. The reverse, allowing the private group to set its own rules, is allowed.

What most Americans do not realize…

Islam is going to use our freedoms to conquer us — that is why a majority of their organizations have dozens of lawyers so they can launch LEGAL JIHAD….

For now, though, exercised was some diplomatic jihad. As the New York Post reported Monday:

After the backlash, the organizer of the event, Aminah Knight, told The Post that she is backtracking on how she is advertising it….

A new flier for the event — released on Monday — removed the worlds “Muslim only” and replaced it with “modest dress only” and added the line “come and celebrate Eid with us, all are welcome!”

Knight told The Post that she did not mean to exclude non-Muslims in organizing the event.

How organizers who “did not mean to exclude non-Muslims” put “Muslim Only” on the event flier was not explained.

What was explained is below, again courtesy of the Post:

…“While the event is rooted in celebrating Eid within the Muslim community, the guiding principle for attendance is the modest dress code…,” [Knight stated].

“Guests are expected to follow that guideline; such as burkinis for women and swim trunks with shirts for men.”

In other words, you can attend as a woman as long as you’re dressed like this:

Translation: You’ll probably have trouble finding a non-Muslim woman at the event.

People Get the Culture They Deserve

Of course, as critics have pointed out, there would likely be establishment outrage were an event billed as “Christians Only.” Here’s a question, too: If the waterpark really is as non-discriminatory as its officials claim, would a whites-only event fly? It’s hard to imagine, but it would be a good test case — including in the courts.

Legality aside, what’s happening culturally is the real story here. Mek, who has long been investigating the Islamization phenomenon, provided more related information in another Monday tweet (below).

Among other things, Mek writes above that economic jihadists

are creating a complete parallel world that non-Muslims are kept completely out of. Every dollar is kept inside the Muslim community to build their power, and they no longer need or want us in the loop.

As to this, she references a March article she penned titled “ECONOMIC JIHAD IN FLORIDA.”

Moreover, expanding on her legal-jihad warning, she additionally states:

We are watching them [the Islamic cultural jihadists] use our legal systems with absolute mastery, but that is exactly what they call on to do.

Their own documents, like the Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA) 2007 paper “Judicial Work Outside the Lands of Islam,” openly instruct Muslims to flood the legal field as lawyers, judges, and jurors, master our Constitution, and then use the Islamic doctrine of “necessity” to infiltrate America’s courts and ultimately replace it with Sharia. Really, though, is any of this surprising? Having extremely large numbers of immigrants from one particular culture or religion means they no longer have to operate through the host country’s institutions. They can develop their own parallel institutions. It also means they won’t have to assimilate, but can seek to dominate and, ultimately perhaps, subsume the host culture.

This is why a serious civilization treats immigration as what it actually is. It’s a determinant of what type of land yours will be tomorrow — and of whether it will still be yours.

Apropos to this, Muslim academic Dr. Mudar Zahran has called mass Muslim immigration “the soft Islamic conquest of the West.” Also apropos, consider something the all-Muslim Hamtramck, Michigan, government immediately did upon assuming power in 2023.

It banned the “Pride” flag’s display on public property.

So if you want to see wokeness extinguished, well, modern American immigration policy is one way to do it.
