President Joe Biden dropped all claims of using diplomacy when he condemned Vladimir Putin in a March 26 speech in Poland. After the speech, Fox News quoted a White House official walking back the remark above: “The president’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region. He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change.” Later, on March 28, Biden said, “I’m not walking anything back. The fact of the matter is I was expressing … moral outrage.”
