Is Trump’s Alien Disclosure Directive a Distraction?
Is it a coincidence that the president is directing government agencies to release information about aliens exactly as public frustration over revelations in the Jeffrey Epstein files are boiling over? Is it a coincidence this is happening when pressure continues mounting on his Justice Department to release the three million files they’re illegally holding onto? Is it a coincidence we’re hearing about aliens just as the president is on the verge of making a unilateral decision to catapult the country into war against a struggling nation that poses no imminent threat to the United States?
Short of President Donald Trump admitting so, it’s difficult to tell. But probably not. As soon as Trump announced the alien disclosure move, the internet en masse arrived at the same conclusion. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) was among the many who sensed what’s likely happening.
“They’ve deployed the ultimate weapon of mass distraction,” Massie said in an X post Thursday night, “but the Epstein files aren’t going away… even for aliens.”

Trump posted his announcement two hours earlier, around 7 p.m. Thursday night, saying, “Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”
Planning Ahead?
For days before Trump made this announcement, there were rumblings that something like this was coming. There were reports featuring hints from his daughter-in-law Lara Trump. And before that, reports about former President Barack Obama saying aliens were real emerged.
But notice how neither president revealed anything new or earth-shattering. In fact, their statements on the matter were superfluous. “I don’t know if they’re real or not,” Trump recently said. Obama said in a podcast interview that they’re real but he hasn’t seen them. Moreover, he said, “there’s no underground facility, unless there’s this enormous conspiracy, and they hid it from the president of the United States.”
Whatever the truth about aliens, it’s highly unlikely the public will get it. And if we do get it, it will be a sanitized version that conceals the government’s criminal behavior. Given the government’s long-standing pattern of deception about anything of substance, the chances that they’ll tell us the truth and nothing but the truth is very low. Maybe we’ll get some confirmation, as we did with Epstein. However, Epstein is also proof that the powers-that-be can exert massive influence to limit transparency.
An Excuse for Global Government
Nevertheless, the debate about aliens has been around for as long as Trump has been alive. It’s not a nothing burger. But whatever the details are, whatever the truth is, whatever the ratio between secret government technology and truly mysterious capabilities is, the public must be on guard. As we previously reported, there is legitimate reason to be wary of an attempt by the Insiders to use this narrative as an excuse to push through agendas they’ve had for a long time.
An alien “threat” may be framed as a necessary reason to void national sovereignty and individual liberties in exchange for global cooperation to defend human civilization.
The Insiders could frame the alien narrative as the answer to the age-old question of human origin. This would align with an attack on Christianity that began more than a century ago.
Wherever this alien thing goes, people must not be afraid and fooled into accepting the loss of God-given liberties, or even God.
As for this latest distraction ploy, let us not forget that Trump’s specialty is TV, showbiz. For all his moral and foreign policy shortcomings, the president has always exhibited a propensity for controlling the narrative. It makes sense that one of the few times he’s been unsuccessful, he would pull the alien card.
