ICE Arrests Illegal-alien Rapist After Va. Gov. Spanberger Bans ICE Cooperation
As expected, one of far-left Virginia Democratic Governor Abigail Spanberger’s first actions was protecting illegal-alien rapists and murderers from arrest by blocking Commonwealth law enforcement from working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Meanwhile, a Third World immigrant who shouldn’t be in the United States let alone the state Senate, has introduced three bills that would also protect illegals from arrest by hampering ICE operations. Muslim radical Saddam Azlan Salim is also attempting to ban guns and criminalize “islamophobia.”
As if to underscore how dangerous to real Virginians these two hate-Trump leftists are, ICE arrested a repeat illegal-alien rapist days after Spanberger signed her anti-ICE executive order.
Spanberger and Salim prove what far-left Democratic U.S. Senator Chris Murphy said about illegals. For Democrats, they’re “the people we care about most.”

No ICE Cooperation
One of the many Deep State CIA and military Democrats to infiltrate Congress before becoming governor of the Old Dominion, Spanberger banned state cops from honoring Section 287g agreement with ICE.
Part of a 1996 immigration reform bill, 287g permits ICE to delegate authority to state and local lawmen to assist with immigration enforcement.
Democrats who need illegal-alien votes oppose 287g.
Last year, GOP Governor Glenn Youngkin signed an executive order that required state law enforcement to cooperate with ICE.
Immediately upon taking office, though, Deep Stater Spanberger rescinded it because
ensuring public safety in Virginia requires state and local law enforcement to be focused on their core responsibilities of investigating and deterring criminal activity, staffing jails, and community engagement.
Spanberger falsely claimed that “Virginians have been deprived of critical public safety resources” because of Youngkin’s order.
Virginians must “have their state and local law enforcement resources devoted to the safety and security of their communities, not federal civil immigration enforcement,” she wrote in the executive order barring state agencies from cooperating with ICE via 287g:
It is critical that state law enforcement agencies ensure their agreements, policies, and approaches are focused on their core responsibilities: keeping our communities safe, investigating, and deterring crime; building, cultivating, and maintaining trust-based partnerships with the community; and within the Department of Corrections, operating Virginia’s prisons justly.
Apparently, keeping illegal-alien rapists and murderers off the streets isn’t a priority with the leftist governor. But anyway, her order forbids the following agencies from 287g activities:
- Virginia State Police;
- Virginia Department of Corrections;
- Virginia Department of Wildlife; and
- Virginia Marine Resources Commission.
Salim, a Bangladeshi who probably hadn’t used indoor plumbing before he invaded to the United States, is pushing three anti-ICE bills.
One would hinder ICE from arresting illegals at courthouses, another would block ICE agents from wearing masks, and a third would codify Spanberger’s pro-illegal-alien order.

Like many Third World invaders, Salim is an anti-gun fanatic. He proposed a bill that would have banned high-capacity magazines for rifles and pistols. The state’s Senate Judiciary Committee shot that one down.
His “islamophobia” bill would criminalize “hatred directed toward Islam or Muslims.”
Rapist Arrested
Yesterday, ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in Washington, D.C., announced that it had arrested one of the illegal aliens Spanberger and Salim hope to keep in the state as future voters.
Agents arrested Shayan Kahhal, an illegal Iranian whose “criminal history includes charges for strongarm rape, strongarm sodomy – woman, strongarm sodomy – boy and strongarm sodomy – girl.”

Virginia court records show three convictions: one for rape and two for forcible sodomy.

ICE’s arrest of Kahhal will have no effect on Spanberger or Salim who, like Murphy of Connecticut, really care more for illegals than real Americans.
In 2024, speaking with MSNBC talker Chris Hayes, Murphy complained that Democratic strategy on immigration “has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country.”

Murphy did not explain “undocumented Americans,” but apparently he and party confreres — such as Spanberger and Salim — believe any Tom, Dick, or Mohammad who jumps the border is an “American.”
For his part, Salim, 36, landed in the country in 2000. Hometown: Noakhali, Bangladesh.
Other Immigrant ICE Haters
Salim isn’t the only foreigner attempting to make our country less safe.
As The New American reported a month ago, far-left Democratic Representative Shri Thanedar (Mich.), an immigrant from Belgaum, Karnataka, India, wants to abolish ICE. Like far-left Democratic Representative Pramila Jayapal of Washington state, an immigrant from Chennai, India, Thanedar thinks ICE agents are “terrorists.”
“We must reform ICE, but it looks at this stage, folks, ICE is beyond reform,” he said in near-broken English during a news conference:
ICE is totally out of control.…
We need to make ICE go away. 2003, before 2003, without ICE, various federal agencies were able to take care of business and we can do this without ICE. But we do not need the murderers, we do not need this paramilitary organization’s members on our street terrorizing U.S. citizens, terrorizing moms, terrorizing our children.
