U of Michigan Leftist Hit With Multiple Charges in Deranged Attack

The University of Michigan leftist who went berserk on campus conservatives and fought with campus cops on Sunday faces multiple felony charges.

The Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office released the charges against fanatic Temulun Togochog today. They include assault and assault on a cop.

The mentally ill student attacks multiple people whom she claimed were anti-Islamic. “I should’ve f***ing killed you when I had the chance,” she told Liz Benichou, a Jewish conservative activist.

And that was just one of a string of Togochog’s remarks as she tangled with campus cops.

The university asked that Cam Hibgy’s video of the assaults be removed from X. He refused.

The Assault

As The New American reported yesterday, the once-demure, polite high-school girl who testified before Congress has apparently morphed into a crazed, mentally ill leftist.

Two men sat at a table with a sign that asked, “Is Islam Compatible with the West?,” a pertinent question given the last 61 years of mass immigration — notably from Muslim countries — since passage of the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act. Since the 9/11 terror attacks that murdered almost 3,000 Americans, Muslim immigration to the United States has doubled.

Togochog verbally assaulted the men and clapped her hands in their faces.

“This is f***ing stupid, bro,” she said, the video shows. She demanded to know whether he had a permit to erect the table, and ranted about “anti-Muslim people.”

Then she approached Benichou and called her “b***h.”

Togochog’s crazed attack intensified from there. She tackled Benichou, and two men tried to restrain her. Cops rushed into the melee. They were already there answering a call about an unpermitted event. They quickly subdued Togochog and marched her over to a police van.

“What the f**k are you going to do to me?” Togochog fumed. “Because I hit a dumb a** b***h in the face?”

“I’d do it again every f***ing time, you stupid f***ing c**t,” she told Benichou as a cop brushed leaves from her legs:

I should’ve f***ing killed you when I had the chance.

“Are you kidding me?” someone asked.

“No, I’m not kidding you,” Togochog shouted back.

“You’re sick, you’re sick,” another young woman said as a cop loaded Togochog into the paddy wagon. “Go to a mental hospital b***h.”

Togochog then let the crazy cat out of the bag:

I’ve already been to a mental hospital. And I’ll go again if it means killing you.

Charges

Video of the one-woman riot quickly went viral.

Togochog “faces one count of assaulting an officer and two counts of assault and battery under a pending felony warrant, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday,” The College Fix reported:

“We thoroughly reviewed the evidence that was submitted to us, and the following charges were authorized against Temulun Togochog based on the evidence that was submitted and the governing law,” Alyssa Fountain, an administrative assistant with Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office, said in an email.…

“There is no court date at this time, but a felony warrant for these charges will be issued by the court and a court date set once she has been arraigned on the charges,” she said.

The charges: a count of assaulting a cop and two counts of assault and battery.

Assaulting a cop is a felony punishable by up to two years in prison and a $2,000 fine, provided the cop is uninjured. If he is injured, the penalty is up to four years and a $5,000 fine.

Assault and battery can be a misdemeanor or a felony, depending on the severity of the attack.

For his part, Higby refused to take down video of the melee.

“I have just been informed by @ReawakenUSA CEO @realjamesowen that he was called by @UMich and asked to have my video of yesterday’s attack removed due to negative blowback on lunatic, Temulun Togochog,” Higby wrote on X:

I’ll repost it every day until she’s expelled and charged.

“Reposting because the University wants it taken down,” he wrote today.

Dramatic Change

Togochog’s deranged attack surprises those who recall her testimony before Congress when she was 17.

In December, she testified before Congress about the persecution of Mongolians in China. Video of that testimony shows a demure, articulate girl explaining that she is privileged to live in the United States.

Something changed aside from her appearance, which now features tattoos, a septum piercing, and ear gauges, among other bodily adornments.

For other video posted to X yesterday shows Togochog answering a number of bizarre questions by pointing to four psychiatric medicines.

Her name is clearly visible on the bottles. Only three of the medications’ names are visible: aripiprazole, sertraline, and lamotrigine.

They are prescribed for myriad mental problems, including depression and schizophrenia and the following disorders: bipolar, panic, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, premenstrual dysphoric, and post-traumatic stress.

The side effects of the pills are many: fear, anxiety, irritability, mood swings, and aggression.

While Togochog is an adult, antidepressants, the Mayo Clinic observes, are known to “trigger anxiety, agitation, hostility, restlessness or impulsive behavior” in children.

Data collected in 2020 show that almost 60 percent of women ages 18 through 29 are mentally ill.
