Going Globalist

There has been a renewal of interest in globalism recently. Many people, even ones who are fairly savvy, feel that there will be benefits to all by moving toward global economic and foreign policy.

The socialist statists (including the Democrats) are even calling for “open borders,” with the thinking being that anyone should be able to live anywhere they want in the world, and should not be limited by their birthplace. The “New World Order” that George H. W. Bush espoused is an example of this modern thinking. 

But though it all might sound fine and good, and many would say, “What’s wrong with that?” there is a catch: a profound loss of freedom and safety.
