Goodness of America

Proud Dad Moment

Daniel Medina, a father of two in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, felt affirmed as a father on December 11 when his children performed a selfless act for an individual in need.

Medina and his two boys were driving home from the mall on December 11 when they spotted a man in a wheelchair shoveling snow, today.com reported. Without being prompted, Medina’s two sons, ages 10 and six, asked their father to pull over so that they could help the man in the wheelchair.

“I didn’t even see the guy because I was concentrating on driving in the snow,” Medina said. “My oldest, Daniel, said, ‘Pull over, let’s go help him.’ So I said, ‘OK, let’s go.’ We pulled up next to him, and Daniel asked if he had any extra shovels.”
