The New American Goes Live — Daily!
The New American magazine has always sought to deliver relevant news about issues of concern to Americans — from a traditional constitutionalist perspective — to the widest possible audience. In recent years we’ve had new and better opportunities to achieve that goal, while also encountering greater roadblocks and challenges. On one hand, technologies such as the internet, email, and smartphones have opened up innovative avenues to new and larger audiences. On the other hand, in the wake of Covid, an aggressive public-private partnership seeking to suppress and censor information has blossomed, blunting the effectiveness and limiting the reach of anyone dissenting from the approved statist agenda.
Consequently, Americans are hungrier than ever for an alternative to the captive media, and The New American’s distinctive brand of constitutionalist and Americanist news and analysis is uniquely suited to meeting this need. I am excited, therefore, to announce in this issue that as of February 1 The New American is partnering with the World View Weekend (WVW) Broadcast Network to launch The New American TV With Rebecca Terrell.
This new show features up to four segments per episode. The opening segment features host Rebecca Terrell, a senior editor for The New American, providing a summary of the most important news of the day. For the second segment, Rebecca brings in an expert on a key topic to delve deeper into the issues. Following that segment, legislative experts including Christian Gomez, Peter Rykowski, and Ben Faulkner from The John Birch Society — this magazine’s parent organization — present a summary of key legislative news from both Congress and the states. Finally, each show ends with an informative segment offering insights into steps concerned Americans can take to move our nation back from the precipice of tyranny and toward a restoration of our constitutional Republic.
