No More Public Schools

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, just where in the Constitution does it give the national government any authority to be involved in education? Nowhere that I know of. And just what tortured interpretation do you have to apply to whatever part of the Constitution to make it say that it does?

Anyone who believes public education has the potential to create a positive experience for children should spend some time reading the works of Samuel Blumenfeld and John Taylor Gatto. I would especially recommend trying to find a copy of the late Blumenfeld’s classic work Is Public Education Necessary?
