Leftists and Their Lies
As the presidential election season gets into full swing this autumn, Americans are once again bombarded with nonstop campaign ads from Democratic and Republican candidates. Hundreds of millions of dollars are being spent by both parties in the hope that voters will be swayed to their side. In addition to TV and online ads, news media personalities and pundits on all major (as well as alternative) news channels are talking about the election, also hoping to sway the minds of voters.
While it is standard operating procedure in American politics to try to make oneself look better and one’s opponent look like a scoundrel, the 2024 election season has taken this to a previously unseen level. We’ve never witnessed such a sustained smear campaign against one man in an attempt to villainize and ultimately destroy him.
This man, of course, is Donald Trump. Ever since his historic 2015 announcement of his intent to run for president in the 2016 election, Trump has become the undisputed “public enemy No.1” of the Left. We have witnessed a sustained smear campaign against Trump’s character, accusations of collusion with Putin’s Russia to get Trump into the White House, two impeachments, criminal indictments on various trumped-up charges, and even an assassination attempt the details of which are still murky.
