Moroccan Invasion of Ceuta Wanes, but Enclave Trashed, Residents Terrified
Less than 48 hours after the invasion of Ceuta, Spain, the tiny enclave on the northeastern coast of Africa has been turned into a Third World trash dump.
Beaches are covered in trash, and “migrants” — leftist code for Muslim invaders — are defecating in the streets.
The invaders are attacking cars. Women are crying in fear for their lives. Businesses are closed. Video shows Spanish patriots on patrol to confront the horde.
Today, the European Commission announced that the invaders will not be allowed on mainland Europe, while Spain’s far-left government said most of the “migrants” had returned home.
Invasion Ceuta
Resembling the zombie invasion in the film World War Z, some 60,000 of the marauders invaded during the last two days, although The New York Times reported today that “at least 48,300 had returned” whence they came.
Spain’s government said most had returned, and raised the death toll to 57.
But even if some 48,000 returned, some 12,000 are left in the tiny Spanish enclave of 83,000 residents.
The damage done so far is cataclysmic.
Video shows a trashed beach with boats of the invaders heading for Spain, 18 miles away across the Gibraltar Strait. Other video shows the invaders vandalizing a cemetery.
Trucks seen dumping off invaders, who then crash the border, suggest a planned invasion by the Moroccan government to seize the territory from Spain.
“Spanish intelligence believes that the invasion of Moroccan immigrants into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta is a false flag operation orchestrated by the Moroccan government on the orders of King Mohammed VI,” defense analyst Babak Taghvaee wrote on X:
Not only are there many pardoned criminals and prisoners among the 12,000 Moroccan nationals who have just arrived at the enclave, but there are also reports of Moroccan army soldiers among them who were brought to the border by trucks and were guided by Moroccan Police[.]
The king had recently pardoned more than 1,500 criminals.
Plus, “the shocking surge comes after a ruling by Spain’s Supreme Court earlier this month, which said migrants intercepted at sea while attempting to reach Ceuta or Melilla, another Spanish autonomous city in northern Morocco, cannot be immediately kicked out,” the New York Post noted.
Crime Wave
Whatever the reason for the siege, Ceutians are terrified, and rightly so.
The “migrants” are attacking cars, civilians, and police. One video purports to show North African criminals attacking a car with a Ukrainian man and his wife. Another shows a Moroccan thug attempting to smash the window of a bus because the woman driver refused his perverted sexual advances.
Yet a third shows an invader defecating in the street.
“Harrowing local media reports reveal residents and business owners in Ceuta … are terrified to open their doors amid the rush of migrants, many of whom arrived wearing nothing but swimwear without a penny or possession to their name,” the Post reported:
“Businesses closed. Shops shut because if you open a business, it gets overrun … We’re scared. The streets are packed. There are no measures in place. It’s every man for himself. They’re not giving us any help,” a terrified downtown restaurant owner who didn’t want to give their name told state-owned Spanish media outlet RTVE. …
“It’s like an apocalypse. Waves of people everywhere. You can see as many people wandering around as you want,” José Carlos Lara, owner of a sign-making business just over the border, told RTVE.
He said local authorities have “no capacity” to deal with the chaos, and that the new arrivals are already sleeping in the streets and washing themselves in public fountains.
A video shared on X by David Santos, director of right-leaning Spanish media outlet La Bandera, shows a migrant defecating on the side of a building in broad daylight.
Lara added that other business owners — particularly food stores — have shut their doors in a panic, fearing widespread looting.
That looting began as soon as the Moroccan “migrant” army invaded, as did attempts to break into houses.
Women Scared
Understandably, women are especially unnerved, if not terrified.
More video showed women crying, afraid for their lives and of what might well be ahead: mass rape akin to what occurred in Germany on New Year’s Eve in 2015-2016, when Arabs and North Africans sexually assaulted 1,200 women.
“It’s my city,” a young woman cried as the invasion continued.
“I am surrounded,” another said:
I am scared. This is an invasion.
Knowing what’s coming, Italy has suspended its Schengen open-borders agreement with Spain, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced on X yesterday:
The temporary suspension of #Schengen with Spain is a necessary choice to safeguard the security of our citizens and defend the European borders.
A measure provided for by the treaties and made unavoidable today. The migrant crisis in #Ceuta reminds us that the management of the Union’s borders is a shared responsibility among our countries, one toward the other. We must work together to prevent uncontrolled migrant flows from entering EU territory, with all the consequent risks and the threat of terrorism, which must be countered without hesitation.
Other nations might not be far behind.
“The European Commission says migrants who entered the Spanish enclave irregularly will not reach mainland Europe, as EU countries call for Spain’s suspension from Schengen over border-control failures,” EuroNews reported:
The European Commission said on Friday that no irregular migrants have moved from Ceuta to the European mainland.
“There are no onward movements today towards the European continent,” an EU official said, claiming that migrants will not be able to freely move through Europe, as some leading right-of-centre figures across Europe are suggesting.
