With Biden in Office, Democrats Can’t Use Trump as Their Scapegoat for America’s Problems

When President Trump was in office, his opponents constantly asserted that the country was heading in the “wrong direction,” and that his presidency was a disaster for the nation. In reality, however, America didn’t have too many problems when Trump was president. As a matter of fact, many of the so-called problems allegedly “linked” to Trump’s presidency were nothing more than fabrications and smokescreens created by the Democrats and many of their liberal media mouthpieces to hurt Trump. With President Biden, however, the circumstances are entirely different. In just seven short months, America has tragically transitioned from a country with very few major problems to one with many real and significant problems resulting from a weak president who puts America last.

While Trump’s presidency was not without its share of challenges, the nation was in very good shape due to his many accomplishments, which included draining the swamp in Washington; repealing the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate; passing and signing comprehensive tax reform; implementing policies that led to a reduction in illegal immigration; exerting pressure on countries such as North Korea and Iran; cancelling the Iran nuclear deal; re-establishing America’s credibility around the world; taking tough measures against China; appointing conservative members to the judiciary; implementing policies that resulted in a strong economy, continued economic growth, and lower unemployment; taking care of veterans and strengthening the military; promoting a strong and effective policy to fight the COVID pandemic and effectively overseeing the rapid development of a COVID vaccine; and facilitating peace deals between various countries in the Middle-East and Israel.

Despite these accomplishments, Democrats and many of the liberal major news networks did their best to destroy and remove him from office. They created so-called disasters, or “bombshell” stories, the majority of which were either factually incorrect, highly exaggerated, or unsubstantiated. For example, they accused Trump of “collusion” with Russia, which turned out to be blatantly false. They blamed Trump for many of the COVID-related deaths despite the many steps he took to protect the country and his ability to rapidly obtain approval for the various vaccines. They impeached Trump several times for conduct that was perfectly legitimate, including his phone call with the president of Ukraine. They blamed him for the violence and looting that erupted in various American cities and streets. In reality, many Democrats sat idly by and failed to strongly condemn such conduct. Trump, on the other hand, consistently took a strong stance against such conduct. They also blamed Trump for the January 6 Capitol riot, although recent reporting has seemingly put that made-up theory to rest. Amazingly, they continue to blame Trump for certain events although he is no longer the president. In essence, Democrats couldn’t cope with Trump’s successes and created/embellished so-called bombshell stories in an effort to hurt him.

When Trump was president, America was in good shape and the nation was respected around the world. As a matter of fact, Trump’s policies, his tough rhetoric, and his highly effective negotiating skills actually served to protect America and Americans from potential threats, including a possible military conflict with North Korea and/or Iran, and served to deter America’s adversaries.

Unlike his predecessor, Biden’s policies have led to real and substantial problems domestically and abroad. In just seven short months, Biden has systematically and thoughtlessly dismantled many of Trump’s policies, many of which were helping Americans. For example, Biden dismantled Trump’s tough immigration policies and opened the southern border to hundreds of thousands of unvetted illegal immigrants, some of whom are convicted criminals, gang members, sick with COVID or other diseases, or seek to harm America. Biden is also determined to re-enter the Iran nuclear deal, and has destabilized the Middle East, putting America’s biggest ally, Israel, in grave danger, as well as American interests throughout the world. Biden’s weakness and America-last philosophy in Afghanistan has jeopardized the lives of many Americans who are stuck in the country with no way to leave. Rather than bravely standing up to, and rejecting, various Taliban demands, Biden has acquiesced (despite reports that the administration was previously warned of the Taliban’s plans to rapidly take over the region). In doing so, he has disgraced the nation, jeopardized the safety and well-being of Americans domestically and abroad, and has significantly tarnished America’s reputation around the world.

Biden’s dangerous far-left policies have also resulted in high inflation, higher gas prices, a shortage of supplies, increases taxes, uncontrollable spending, a resurgence of COVID, increased crime, fewer constitutional safeguards/protections, and a federal government that seeks to assert complete power and control over the people. Even more frightening is the fact that Democrats want to solidify their power and control over the people for the indefinite future by virtue of bills such as H.R. 1 and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, both of which seek to federalize elections, take away power from individual states (which is granted by the Constitution), make it much more difficult to implement policies/rules that would help to ensure election integrity and prevent cheating, and take away/limit the power afforded to the Supreme Court under certain circumstances.

When Trump was president, Democrats engaged in an unabating, intentional, and hate-driven campaign against him. In doing so, Democrats “created” problems and subsequently blamed them on Trump, whom they used as their scapegoat. Despite their efforts, Trump’s presidency was very successful, and America was very well respected during his term in office.

Tragically, the same cannot be said about Biden’s presidency which, in its infancy, is already marred by real and significant problems domestically and abroad that will negatively impact and hurt Americans for the indefinite future.

This time, neither Biden nor the Democrats can blame Trump. Rather, the nation’s significant problems are entirely their fault, and they have nobody else to blame but themselves.
