Back in May, Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, announced a new mission statement for DHS. Andy Ramirez analyzes the new mission statement, which was supposedly contrived by responses from agents in the field. The new statement appears to not be anything more than a PR move to save face of the excessively large, inconsistent department.
