The Biden-Harris administration announced on Wednesday the release of Equity Action Plans for federal agencies in an aggressive push for their proclaimed equity and racial justice agenda designed to “ensure the full and fair participation of all communities in American life.”
The White House directive marks the first anniversary of President Biden’s second executive order on equity, and the release of federal agencies’ 2023 Equity Action Plans, which, according to the Fact Sheet, include over 100 community-informed strategies and actions to address systemic barriers in our nation’s policies and programs.
Since its inception, the administration says, it has “championed an ambitious equity and racial justice” agenda ensuring equal opportunities for all communities. However, the White House admitted, “despite progress being made, entrenched disparities in our laws and public policies have often denied equal opportunity to historically underserved communities.”
So administration officials have actively implemented two of President Biden’s executive orders on equity and his Investing in America Agenda, including key legislation to advance opportunity and fulfill Biden’s promise of America for everyone.
“Since day one of our Administration, President Biden and I have been fully committed to ensuring that every person in America has equitable access to opportunity and the ability to thrive — whether that be supporting small businesses, forgiving $137 billion in student loan debt, investing billions of dollars in our Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic Serving Institutions, removing lead pipes, cutting prescription drug prices, and taking on the maternal health crisis with the urgency it demands,” said Vice President Kamala Harris.
The administration also released its new White House Equity Action Plan Progress Report, highlighting more than 650 actions agencies have taken since the release of their 2022 Equity Action Plans. These include “increasing access to federal monies for small, disadvantaged businesses; addressing health disparities; building economic prosperity in rural communities; promoting fairness in the justice system; support victims and survivors of gender-based violence; root out bias in the design and use of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence; and bolster civil rights enforcement.”
Harris acknowledged the past year’s accomplishments while pushing the administration’s woke agenda, stating, “Together, we will continue to advance equity across the federal government, not only in hiring and appointments but in the historic investments we are making in communities that had been overlooked for far too long.”
Numerous federal agencies also released updates to their Equity Action Plans on Wednesday reinforcing their support of the administration’s “whole-of-government equity agenda.”
“The Justice Department is committed to ensuring that our programs and services reach every community that needs them,” said Attorney General Merrick Garland in a press release. “The five strategies in this Plan seek to advance the Department’s broader mission to uphold the rule of law, keep people safe, and protect civil rights by working to remove the barriers that prevent vulnerable communities from accessing critical resources.”
The U.S. Department of Commerce shared their Equity Action Plan with five equity strategies, stating it “includes real-life examples of how America’s economy and people are best served by filtering our work through a prism of equity.”
“Homogeneity is the enemy of innovation. If we are to out-build, out-innovate, and out-compete the rest of the world, we need to ensure we’re harnessing and empowering Americans across the country by utilizing our greatest strength — diversity,” said Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo.
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra claimed in a release that his department’s equity plan will help “to continue our shift from a health system focused on illness-care to one focused on wellness-care. HHS continues to expand access to quality, affordable health care, as well as support for people struggling with behavioral health challenges, while also ensuring that our science is both innovative and inclusive.”
The above plans echoing Biden’s woke social justice agenda are just a sampling that can be found today being posted by all federal agencies. They all, including those of Cabinet-level agencies, are in lockstep to impose the administration’s woke agenda — an agenda that is antithetical to the true meaning of American liberty and freedom.
