More Attacks on Trump — Wanted

I would like to express some concerns about The New American magazine and the current positions that it seems to be taking regarding Donald Trump’s recent presidential win. It appears to me that The New American is becoming too much like the mainstream conservative media.

Since Trump started running for president, I have noticed that you are not being as critical of him as needed. Donald Trump may seem like an anti-establishment type because of a few positions he has taken on trade pacts, such as NAFTA and the TPP, and issues such as building a wall to stop illegal immigration. But he doesn’t seem serious about taking on the establishment. If he truly wants to take on the establishment, then why does he say he only wants to renegotiate NAFTA, not get rid of it entirely? Furthermore, why hasn’t Trump taken the position to get the United States out of the UN; get rid of the income tax; eliminate the Departments of Education, Energy, Commerce, or HUD; or roll back government spending in any significant way?

If America must be taken back through the House of Representatives because that’s where the spending power and legislation come from, then why are we focusing on an individual who will probably end up to be a disappointment? Donald Trump once said that U.S. debt was too high, but then he said we should be borrowing against the debt because interest rates are so low. Which is it?
