Birthday Wishes Do Come True
Connecticut toddler Colby loves all trucks, but especially mail trucks — something his mailman, known affectionately as “Mailman Mike,” knew about him. When Colby turned two, Mailman Mike surprised him with a parade of various trucks from the Simsbury community.
The surprise parade was captured on video, which has gone viral with more than 5.4 million views, Breitbart.com reported. Colby’s mom, Jessica Bergman, is seen holding Colby while he watches a line of mail trucks, garbage trucks, a fire truck, and a police cruiser drive by to wish Colby an enthusiastic “Happy Birthday!” When the parade concluded, Mailman Mike presented Colby with a toy ride-on mail truck and a certificate designating him an honorary mailman.
“I am blown away,” Jessica posted on social media. She issued a special thanks to Mailman Mike and all of the others who participated in the parade to celebrate Colby’s birthday. “Thank you for everything you do for residents of Simsbury.”
