The global population has reached a tipping point. 

A sentence like this is the kind of internationalist and socialist talking point that is usually followed by a warning that the Earth’s population is about to exceed the planet’s ability to sustain life, and that by having so many children and contributing to the human population explosion, people are destroying the environment, causing global warming, and stripping the planet of its natural resources. 

“How dare you!” Greta Thunberg might say.
