Building Strong Families in the Modern World
AT A GLANCE
• Parents who want the best for their children apply timeless principles for successful results.
• The luxuries and conveniences of the modern world are a recipe for misery, not happiness.
• Conor and Ashley Gallagher, parents of 16 and grandparents of three, founded the Well-Ordered Family program to help families “reclaim order and clarity.”
• Knowing how to suffer well builds character, the key to health and happiness.
To whom do you turn for parenting advice? A couple with 16 children might have a few insights.
“Eight boys, eight girls, oldest is 23; youngest is a year. One pair of twins — all biological. And one wife, I promise,” Conor Gallagher told The New American.
Her name is Ashley, and together she and Conor founded Well-Ordered Family in early 2024, after having made their fair share of parenting mistakes and figuring out how to right the ship despite all the traps laid by the modern world. Based on the couple’s successful experience raising their sweet sixteen, the program is a six-part family management series that earns high praise from participants.
