More Evidence That Democrats Are Using Pandemic Lockdowns for Political Gain

There is evidence out of California that COVID-19 lockdowns might be over soon — if former Vice President Joe Biden can somehow win the election in November.

It is as though there was always a secret agreement — a code of sorts — that it was all fake, along the lines of professional wrestling, but none of its participants would ever publicly admit to that. Not the wrestlers, the promoters, the announcers, even the referees.

Sure, wrestlers could, and sometimes did, get hurt with all that jumping off the ropes, doing drop kicks, and all the rest, but even many of its biggest fans knew it was all scripted, at least generally. It was already pre-determined who was going to win the match.

It is not even known if the wrestlers joked about it in private, since no videotape or audiotape of such off-the-record admissions of such scripting has ever been made public. At least I have never heard of it if it has.

Similarly, when one considers the lockdowns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of Americans have strongly suspected that it is all mostly politically motivated — damage the economy as much as possible, disrupt Americans’ lives as long as can be done, so as to reduce the re-election chances of President Donald Trump.

Which is not to say that the coronavirus outbreak has not led to illness and death, but that it has been used politically by those who oppose the re-election of Trump. Yet, there seems to be this unspoken agreement among Democrats and other enemies of the president — everyone knows that as soon as Joe Biden is declared the winner of the presidential election over Trump, the concern over the virus will mysteriously disappear from the news and from being a major public health concern.

Now, we have what could be called an indirect admission that there is some intention to keep schools in lockdown until after the election in early November. Barbara Ferrer, the health director of Los Angeles County, said on a leaked video that she does not expect the schools there will be open until after the election.

“We don’t realistically anticipate that we would be moving to either tier 2 or to reopening K-12 schools at least until after the election, in early November,” Ferrer is heard to say in the audio. “When we look at the timing of everything, it seems to us a more realistic approach to this would be to think that we’re going to be where we are now until we are done with the election.”

KFI-AM, a Los Angeles radio station, featured the recording on the station’s “John and Ken Show,” this week, where the two co-hosts openly raised the issue of deliberate manipulation.

It is not known if Ferrer received a memo letting her know that the schools should remain shuttered until after the November election, or is it is just “understood,” as it was understood that professional wrestling was scripted, and there is no need to send out any such memo — liberals just instinctively “know” such things. Lockdowns of schools or businesses are going to damage Trump politically, so these things are done. It is as natural as the mainstream media choosing to under-report (or not report at all) anything that would tend to help Trump. No one has to tell liberals that, they just know that is the way to do it.

It would be nice to get a response from Director Ferrer as to why she even referenced the election. After all, if she actually believed that early November (when the presidential election takes place), was the likely date for school re-opening, why did she just not say around the first of November, or perhaps after Halloween?

It is not likely that there is anything that could cause Trump to carry heavily Democrat California, anyway, but it does illustrate the mind-set of Democrats — once the election is over and if Biden wins, we can kiss the coronavirus goodbye as a major health concern.

You might even say the mask will come off at that time.
