Yet another producer at CNN is in trouble in yet another child-rape scandal.

This time, the suspect is Rick Saleeby, a producer for The Lead With Jake Tapper. Saleeby appeared in court yesterday to answer a protective order filed by his former fiancée.

The court appearance came two weeks after Project Veritas released recordings of a then-unnamed producer who described raping the fiancée’s daughter.

The latest child-rape scandal for the “most trusted named in news” comes after the arrest and firing of John Griffin, whom federal prosecutors have charged in a sex-trafficking scheme that involved girls as young as seven years old.

The largely unknown Saleeby became famous overnight after PV unveiled an interview with a sex-trafficking case worker who gave recordings of a CNN big shot to the investigative outfit.

At the time, PV didn’t name the man in the recording. Two days later, PV fingered Saleeby and published a note from his former fiancée.

“Our world has just been completely flipped upside down, but none of that matters,” the woman wrote:

We are all safe.… [Y]ou guys have saved us all from him.

Despite the hardships ahead, I am going to continue to sit with these feelings of gratitude toward you guys and the woman who provided you with the information.

On December 23, PV reported that Fairfax County cops seized Saleeby’s computer devices and other belongings.

Yesterday, a PV reporter confronted Saleeby and his attorney after they left court.

Fairfax cops confirmed a probe into the CNN big shot:

The Fairfax County Police Department has launched an investigation into serious allegations involving potential juvenile victims. Detectives assigned to the Child Exploitation Squad of the Major Crimes Bureau are leading the investigation. While we will eventually be transparent about our findings, safeguarding the personal privacy and safety of victims and witnesses as well as maintaining the integrity of our criminal investigation are of paramount importance.

At this time, we are not in a position to provide additional detail on the scope or nature of this investigation.

Rick Saleeby

At this writing, CNN has not released a statement about Saleeby.

Griffin Pleads Not Guilty

The Saleeby child-rape scandal hit CNN just weeks after another network big shot, John Griffin, was arrested and charged with three counts of “unlawful sexual activity” with kids.

Griffin is accused of running a child-rape scheme in which he importuned parents to let him “sexually train” their daughters. One victim was nine years old, and Griffin told one parent that he “sexually trained” a seven-year-old. Griffin offered a woman $30,000 for a mother-daughter sex romp, prosecutors allege.

Griffin also wanted to watch a mother and her 14-year-old daughter touch each other at his direction, and he proposed a “sexual training” session for a 16-year-old.

John Griffin

At one time, Griffin was disgraced former anchor Chris Cuomo’s major domo.

Griffin pleaded not guilty in federal court in Vermont last week, as Fox News reported. Federal judge William Sessions, III agreed with prosecutors that Griffin would not be released before trial.

CNN Out of Control

The two pedo scandals at CNN follow the firing of Chris Cuomo for advising his older brother, disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, in his fight against sex-assault and harassment allegations. Text messages between Chris Cuomo and his brother’s top aide showed that he, Chris, was heavily involved mounting a defense against the allegations.

Those texts, and then yet another sex-harassment allegation against the CNN anchor, forced the network to cashier him.

Cuomo had been a liability for the network for some time. Aside from lying about his role in his brother’s ultimately futile defense, the younger Cuomo is given to fits of public rage against those who displease him.

Homosexual anchor Don Lemon has also been trouble for the network. In January, he faces trial in a sex assault case.
