A Muslim police officer, who was initially hired to boost ethnic diversity in the police department, is among a group of sixteen men accused of various sexual offenses with young girls aged 13-16 in West Yorkshire. 35-year-old Amjad Ditta (shown), also known as Amjad Hussain, was charged along with fifteen others of various sex and drug crimes.
“The allegations include several counts of rape, sexual assault, supplying drugs and trafficking…. Ditta was a serving officer at the time of the offense he has been accused of,” reported the BBC.
Ditta has been suspended from the police force.
The crimes allegedly took place in the Halifax area from 2006 until 2009 when Ditta was attached to the West Yorkshire Police’s Protective Services Operations, which includes child safeguarding units, raising the possibility that Ditta may have abused his role as a police officer to engage in the crimes.
In 2016, Ditta was appointed as a “diversity officer” with a mandate to increase the number of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) people hired to the force.
At the time, Ditta said that the ethnic makeup of the police force should reflect the community it serves. Back in May of 2016, he said, “I am the Positive Action Coordinator for West Yorkshire Police. My role involves recruiting, maintaining and promoting under-represented within the force.”
But the grooming gang he was allegedly involved in didn’t reflect such diversity. Charged along with Ditta were Vaqaas Abbas, Nadeem Adalat, Sajid Adalat, Vaseem Adalat, Christopher Eastwood, Metab Islam, Mohammed Rizwan Iqbal, Ishtiaq Latif, Asad Mahmood, Arfan Mir, Younis Mohammed (aka Younis Khan), Nadeem Nasir, Shahzad Nawaz, Shazad Nazir, and Sohail Zafar.
In the upside down, politically correct world of Great Britain, this is sometimes referred to as an “Asian” grooming gang. While technically correct, this nomenclature ignores a key aspect of the culture these men hail from. The Islamic culture.
Understand, this is not to say that all Muslim men engage in this behavior. But there is a sub-culture within Islam that believes that this behavior is fine and is even encouraged by the teachings of Islam.
The U.K., and other European countries, have a problem with sexual “grooming gangs” — specifically Muslim grooming gangs. And political correctness run amok has caused a failure on the part of police departments to adequately confront these gangs. In some cases, a fear of being labeled racist has caused communities such as Rotherham to turn a blind eye toward these cases for fear of being labeled racist.
A damning 2015 report, written by Louise Casey, former Victims’ Commissioner put the problem into its raw form. It tells the story of a municipality so profoundly afraid of being labeled “racist” that it completely abandoned its responsibility to its young female residents and, instead, worked to silence them.
From the report: “Terrible things happened in Rotherham and on a significant scale. Children were sexually exploited by men who came largely from the Pakistani Heritage Community. Not enough was done to acknowledge this, to stop it happening, to protect children, to support victims and to apprehend predators.”
Casey continued about what she found in investigating the situation: “I found a Council in denial. They denied that there had been a problem, or if there had been, that it was as big as was said. If there was a problem they certainly were not told — it was someone else’s job.”
It’s not just Rotherham and West Yorkshire. There are documented cases of Muslim grooming gangs all over the U.K. and indeed most of Europe. Political correctness is not just hiding these grooming gangs from public view; it is enabling them to exist.
When citizen journalist Tommy Robinson attempted to bring these grooming gangs to light, he was jailed twice for his trouble. He was electronically tarred and feathered by a politically correct mainstream media that would rather catch a “racist” than address the serious problem of a group of men unable to assimilate into a culture that says it’s wrong to treat young females as chattel.
Isn’t it past time that authorities in the U.K. decide which is more important — their image as an “inclusive” country or the actual and repeated sexual exploitation of young women?
