Even as Special Counsel John Durham closes in on the Clinton Mafia and exposes its attempt to destroy Donald Trump with the Russian Collusion Hoax, a grand jury in New York is running Hunter Biden to ground.

The jury is hunting for proof that Biden, a remarkably successful global business tycoon despite his being an out-of-control pervert and dope fiend, is guilty of tax fraud.

The latest from that probe surely sent White House staffers into a panic. A witness before the panel was asked who, exactly, is the “big guy” in the China e-mails found on Hunter Biden’s notorious laptop, the New York Post has reported.

We all know the “big guy” is President Joe Biden because one of Hunter’s business partners admitted it long ago. And though Biden and his handlers deny it, once that witness’ testimony goes public, denial won’t be an option.

That will mean leftists, Democrats, and Biden’s media-information ministry will be forced to admit their man was financially tied to Red China.

“10 Percent for the Big Guy”

The question the witness answered — who’s the big guy? — stems from a May 13, 2017 e-mail to Hunter Biden from biz partner James Grillar. Another principal was Tony Bobulinski, who confirmed that “the big guy” mentioned in the e-mail was, indeed, Joe Biden.

Referring to a deal with CEFC China Energy, the e-mail says booty from the deal will be split among Hunter and his business partners, including Bobulniki, uncle Jim Biden, and then, Joe Biden.

“10 held by H for the big guy,” the e-mail says.

The pro-Biden media ignored Bobulinski’s testimony and treated it like they treated the Biden-Burisma influence peddling scheme; i.e., as a “debunked conspiracy theory.”

But lo and behold, after Joe Biden was securely in the White House for a year, the leftist media confirmed that Hunter Biden’s laptop was not “Russian disinformation,” as Biden, his handlers, and their media toadies claimed.

Last week, The Washington Post not only confirmed the contents of the laptop but also found that Hunter Biden and uncle Jim Biden hauled in $4.8 million from the Chinese Reds:

Over the course of 14 months, the Chinese energy conglomerate and its executives paid $4.8 million to entities controlled by Hunter Biden and his uncle, according to government records, court documents and newly disclosed bank statements, as well as emails contained on a copy of a laptop hard drive that purportedly once belonged to Hunter Biden.

The Post did not find evidence that Joe Biden personally benefited from or knew details about the transactions with CEFC, which took place after he had left the vice presidency and before he announced his intentions to run for the White House in 2020.

But the new documents — which include a signed copy of a $1 million legal retainer, emails related to the wire transfers, and $3.8 million in consulting fees that are confirmed in new bank records and agreements signed by Hunter Biden — illustrate the ways in which his family profited from relationships built over Joe Biden’s decades in public service.

Question is, did the “big guy” collect $480,000 from that deal.

The Grand Jury

Neither Biden nor his gang of operatives has confessed the obvious. But that no longer matters. The witness’ testimony before the grand jury should surface soon.

“A witness who testified before the Hunter Biden grand jury was asked to identify the ‘big guy’ in the first son’s planned deal with a Chinese energy conglomerate — as calls ramped up to have President Biden included in a conspiracy probe, the New York Post reported:

The question arose after the witness was shown a piece of evidence while appearing in secret before the panel in Wilmington, Del., a source familiar with the proceedings told The Post.

The Post did not report the answer, but it’s unlikely the witness identified anyone but Joe Biden.

Speaking with former Clinton legman George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week, White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain stuck to the script. Biden is pure as the driven snow.

Asked about the $4.8 million deal with China, Klain said Biden knows nothing.

“George, the president is confident that his family did the right thing,” Klain said:

But, again, I want to just be really clear, these are actions by Hunter and his brother. They’re private matters. They don’t involve the president. And they certainly are something that no one at the White House is involved in.

Right. Except that Biden lied when he said he knew nothing of his son’s business affairs.
