Both official statements and public sentiment agree that China is the greatest modern adversary of the United States. How has this come about, and what do we do about it?

These are the questions asked and answered in the new book The Devil and Communist China by Steven W. Mosher. He “was the first American social scientist to visit mainland China” after the Communist takeover in 1949, and he lived there in a people’s commune, witnessing first-hand atrocities committed by that godless government against its own citizens. The experience changed the course of his career, leading him to head the Population Research Institute, which works to expose human rights abuses committed worldwide.

He visits with The New American senior editor Rebecca Terrell to talk about his new book and its important warning to our nation about the perils posed by the Red Dragon.
