New York Citizens Audit (NCYA) recently discovered that its state Board of Elections (NYSBOE) is “quietly auditing the county and state voter rolls.” For the past four years, NYCA has been working toward that goal, having uncovered corrupt records and reported their findings to local, state and federal agencies and legislators. The group has endured relentless attacks for its work, but the grassroots effort has only spread.
Now 21 states are involved in uncovering corruption in their own voter rolls, and lawsuits are filed in nine of them.
