Kelly and Connie Meggs went to Washington on January 6, 2021, as part of a security detail. They both landed in prison. Thanks to President Donald Trump’s executive actions on January 20 this year, Connie is pardoned and Kelly’s sentence has been commuted. They meet with The New American senior editor Rebecca Terrell to talk about their experience and the road ahead.
