Burning Man, a movement with an annual neo-pagan event that erects a temporary city in the middle of the Black Rock desert in Nevada, is not simply an art festival, as the organizers would like you to think.
It is in fact a “container” where a new culture is being cultivated to replace Christianity in the Western world, according to veteran attendee, Christian author, and researcher Carl Teichrib in a conversation with The New American’s Alex Newman.
Burning Man, Teichrib explained, is “spiritual but not religious,” where lost seekers try to find “transformation.” But beyond personal exploration into spirituality, psychedelics, and debauchery, which happens at the event in spades, lies an international movement that blossoms out of Silicon Valley to cultivate ideas that inform algorithms, Big Tech projects, and even global policy.
