Trump Blasts Massie in 11th-Hour Attack to Help Israel-First Challenger Gallrein

President Trump delivered an 11th-hour tirade against America-First GOP Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky to help elect Israel-First neoconservative Ed Gallrein in the Bluegrass State’s 4th U.S. House district.

Trump hates Massie because the principled Kentuckian voted against the budget-busting Big Beautiful Bill. Massie also pushed for the release of the Epstein files.

Massie faces Gallrein, a retired Navy SEAL, in today’s GOP primary. Defeating Massie is crucial for the Israel Lobby, which has dumped more than $15 million into Gallrein’s campaign.

Truth Social Rampage, Video Lie

Trump unleashed his fury at the “disloyal” Massie on Monday morning at 12:40 a.m. on Truth Social, calling him “the worst and most unreliable Republican Congressman in the history of our Country” and “an even bigger insult to our Nation than Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who suffered an unprecedented loss tonight by not even being allowed to run in the Republican Primary.”

“This is the first time such a thing has ever happened to a sitting U.S. Senator!” Trump crowed:

That’s what you get by voting to Impeach an innocent man, especially one who made it possible for Cassidy’s Senate win. Very disloyal, but Tom Massie, a major Sleazebag, is even worse! Kentucky, get this LOSER out of politics in Tuesday’s Election. He is nicknamed Rand Paul Jr., another real “beauty,” because of his absolutely terrible voting habits. Vote for Ed Gallrein, a successful Kentucky farmer, and American War Hero, who only ran because he thought that Massie was so disloyal and disrespectful to your President, ME! This is a great man, Central Casting, in fact, who truly deserves to represent the fantastic people of Kentucky, a Commonwealth that I am proud to have won all three times, in record fashion! ED WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN.

The fury continued at 8:12 a.m., with Trump claiming that Massie “voted against Tax Cuts, the Border Wall, our Military and Law Enforcement. Actually, he voted against almost everything that is good.” Massie, he wrote, is a “bum” and “the worst Republican Congressman in History.”

At 10:47 a.m., yesterday, Trump called Massie “an obstructionist and a fool.” By 1:59 p.m., he had become a “Third Rate Congressman” and “Weak and Pathetic RINO” who must be defeated:

He is the Worst “Republican” Congressman in History, voting against Tax Cuts, the Wall, Law Enforcement, and in favor of the Transgender Mutilization of our Children, Men playing in Women’s Sports, and so many more horrible things.

Then came last night’s video jeremiad.

Massie is a “total disaster,” Trump said. “He’s the worst.” Trump claimed that Gallrein left the GOP because of Massie.

The Truth About Massie

True enough, Massie did vote against the “Big Beautiful Bill,” but not because it included tax cuts, funding for a southwest border wall, and other of Trump’s wishes.

Rather, as Massie explained on X, the bill would increase the national debt. “Although there were some conservative wins in the budget reconciliation bill (OBBBA), I voted No on final passage because it will significantly increase U.S. budget deficits in the near term, negatively impacting all Americans through sustained inflation and high interest rates,” he wrote.

Estimates vary, but the bill “would add $2.4 trillion to primary deficits over the coming decade, adding $3.0 trillion to the debt including interest,” the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget reported:

If its temporary provisions are extended without offsets, we estimate it would add $5.0 trillion to the debt including interest.

And as the Courier Journal of Louisville reported, Gallrein left the GOP after Trump was elected in 2016 to become an independent, then returned to the party in 2020 after President Joe Biden was inaugurated.

But Massie’s vote against the bill wasn’t the only “disloyal” thing he did. He also helped force a vote on the Epstein Files bill, as former GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote on X.

“There were only 4 of us, Republicans, that signed the discharge petition to force the vote to release the Epstein files,” she wrote:

Thomas Massie, Nancy Mace, Lauren Boebert, and myself.

Trump has come after us one by one ever since then.

The President told Speaker Johnson not to allow the vote to happen, but we courageously went against the President and refused to budge and overrode the Speaker to force the vote on record.

It was only when all Members of Congress had to vote on record did Republicans finally find their intestinal fortitude to do the right thing and vote YES to release the files.

Until then, they were absurdly obedient to the President who was doing everything in his reign of terror to hold them back.

Some believe Massie became a top-priority target for defeat by the Israel Lobby last year when he told podcaster Tucker Carlson that every GOP congressman has a “babysitter” from AIPAC, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee. He also said the lobby expects congressmen to write pro-Israel propaganda.

If elected, Gallrein, who refused to debate Massie, will be AIPAC’s mouthpiece. As the AIPAC Tracker reporters, the Israel Lobby has fortified Gallrein with $15,522,757: $63,898 in donations, and $15,458,859 in independent expenditures.

Massie has received nothing from AIPAC.

As for what Trump claims are Massie’s votes for “horrible things,” he rates a lifetime 99 percent in The New American’s Freedom Index. He has a received a 100-percent grade four times, and has never dropped below 97.
