Stefano L. Forte, president of the New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC), comes back to The New American to discuss the results of the 2025 New York City mayoral election, the victory of Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani, and looking ahead to the 2026 New York gubernatorial and state legislative elections. Forte addresses the impact that mass legal immigration has had on the city and the mayor’s race. He also encourages his fellow New Yorkers who are considering leaving the city to not give up, but to instead stay and fight to take back and save their city and state from socialism. Forte also announces the NYYRC’s plans to begin a training school for candidates and potential candidates running for office next year and in future races in New York.
