MAGA Goons Assault Female Protester at Campaign Rally in Ohio; Trump Ridicules Her

Prosecutors have not charged MAGA cultists who attacked a protester at a campaign rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday as the crowd chanted “USA, USA.”

The woman’s crime was wearing a T-shirt saying “Release the Epstein Files,” a message that was central to President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign and that MAGA cultists once supported.

As sheriff’s officers led the woman away, Trump called her a “paid protester” and said she needed to lose weight.

In a now-scrubbed Facebook post, a man admitted that he and his two friends were the assailants.

The yet-to-be-charged crimes are the second time in a week that Trump cultists have attacked protesters at a rally. Authorities in Bexar County, Texas, are looking for information that will lead to arrests in assaults on October 7 in San Antonio.

The Attack

Trump was in town to boost the flagging campaign of GOP Senate candidate John Husted, who trails far-left Democrat Sherrod Brown in polls. Also on the ballot in November is Republican Vivek Ramaswamy.

While Trump supporters once vociferously supported releasing the Epstein Files, that cause has, apparently, lost steam because their dear leader says it’s no longer an issue.

Not so for the admittedly obese heckler.

Two MAGA goons attacked her, video shows.

“A pair of men, one in an adjustable baseball cap and a bald man in a dark T-shirt, put hands on a woman Monday during the GOP event inside Covelli Centre in Youngstown,” as NBC described the scene:

The man in a blue baseball cap pawed at the woman, wearing a shirt reading “Release the Epstein Files,” and pushed her down before the balding man jumped on her.

He appeared to throw multiple punches at the woman’s face, pull her hair and put her in a headlock before uniformed law enforcement officers arrived to take her away.

As is his custom with protesters at his rallies, Trump ridiculed the woman, whom he apparently thought was a man.

“He’s a paid protester,” Trump said as the crowd bellowed “USA! USA!”:

“They’re all paid,” he continued:

They get paid by the lefties in order to destroy our country. They’re scum. But he’s going back home to Mom. He’s going back home to Mom. Look at him. Look at him. Terrible. Don’t we love law enforcement? Oh, he’s gotta go on a diet! He’s a fat guy. Wow. Wow. Gotta go on a diet fast. We all do.

The woman was also a “low-class protester,” Trump also said.

Charges have not been filed against the assailants, Cleveland.com reported.

Yet a rally attendee supposedly confessed on Facebook that he and a friend and the friend’s son assaulted a woman:

I went to a Trump rally in Ohio in Youngstown, and a protester started badmouth and Trump so myself in the green shirt, his son and the camo jacket and his father we subdued her and threw her to the ground and smashed her face in the concrete

Said a second post:

I went to the Trump rally … and a protester started calling Trump, a fascist and a friend of mine [and] his son … and myself subdued her and threw her to the concrete took [sic] the police came. I’m in a green shirt with a hat on….

Doxxers have posted the man’s address and employer and hope to get him fired.

Video on X shows a man in a blue hat and green shirt reach toward the woman’s throat and then her face.

Reaction

The expected and customary leftist fury on social media ensued.

But former Trump supporter and now sworn foe Marjorie Taylor Greene called the MAGA cult she once backed “disgusting and unrecognizable.”

“Late stage MAGA is so disgusting and unrecognizable to me, and I find this shocking as one who attended more Trump rallies than I can count,” she wrote on X of the assault.

The woman “gets physically beaten by the MAGA men around her, who probably call themselves Christians,” Greene continued:

Then our obese President makes fun of her calling her “fat” and “him” claiming she’s a paid protestor. 

She got thrown out and the men who attacked her got to stay.

MAGA rallies used to be filled with people who agreed with releasing the Epstein files, defended women, and would step in if a woman was attacked.

Now the dying remnant of MAGA is made up of people who emulate their cult leader.

Attacking women, making fun of their looks, and turning on the victims of the elites. 

Greene called MAGA “an ugly grotesque cult that does not display Christian values because the cult leader himself is not a Christian even though the vast majority who attend his rallies would identify as Christian.”

“Know them by their fruit,” she wrote, quoting the Bible:

The fruit is rotten.

Because the cult leader himself is a wolf in sheep’s clothing who has led the flock astray.

Previous Violence

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is still seeking information that will lead to the arrest of individuals involved in the violence on October 7 in San Antonio.

Deputies booted 18 people out of the rally but didn’t arrest anyone, KSAT.com reported.

But several anti-Trump, Free Palestine protesters reported being assaulted.

“We got assaulted,” Dominic Garza told KSAT, which reported:

Dominic Garza, Guliana Garza and Matthew Tabares said they attended the rally to protest Trump.

“I got pushed,” Dominic Garza said. “She (Guliana) got kneed in the back and shoved.”

Trump supporters attacked Tabares as he chanted “Free Palestine,” he told the website.

Tabares said a man tried to punch him and a woman “threw a punch at me with her phone in her hand.”
