The far-left celebrity meltdown owing to President-elect Donald Trump’s crushing defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris continues.

Actor-director Rob Reiner has checked himself into a “facility,” possible code for the Giggle Academy.

And unlike other hate-Trump Hollywood celebs who merely promised to leave the country if Trump won, lesbian television talker Ellen DeGeneres has departed. She and her “wife” purchased property in England.

Other celebrities are strongly considering such a move.

Reiner: Check-up From the Neck Up Needed

Trump’s victory may have only been one reason Reiner has repaired to a quiet place. He was also upset that Trump supporters are using Bluesky, the ballyhooed far-left answer to Elon Musk’s X, which he turned into a free-speech zone.

“The acclaimed director on Wednesday night said ‘MAGA scum’ have come to Bluesky, the growing rival to Elon Musk’s X, and made it ‘vile, racist and evil,’” entertainment website TheWrap reported:

About 90 minutes later, Reiner said he was checking into a facility for “peace and relaxation” and wouldn’t be on his phone or social media for a few days. “Just calmness to heal my pain,” he noted.

The Daily Wire reproduced Reiner’s entire, now publicly unavailable post:

This platform is vile, racist and evil. It did not take long for MAGA scum to come spread their lies.

I have made the decision to take the next few days to check into a facility for peace and relaxation. No phones, social media , no trolls, just calmness to heal my pain.

Reiner, who played hippie Meathead on the 1970s sitcom All in the Family, collapsed in hysterics when Trump shellacked Harris on November 5.

The 77-year director of A Few Good Men, like so many of his kind, predicted a Harris victory.

“Kamala Harris will be the 47th President of the United States,” he confidently wrote on X.

“A woman gave birth to each and every one of us,” he wrote. “Tomorrow a woman will give birth to a renewal of our Democracy.”

As giving birth goes, Harris is childless, but in any event, on November 20, Reiner complained that a dark night of authoritarian rule had descended upon America:

Now that America has elected a Convicted Felon with Authoritarian proclivities, I fear that Democracy’s return won’t be any time soon. The long term solutions are daunting. Democrats need to re adopt the 50 state strategy. And most importantly, a competitive information distribution system must be built to combat the massive disinformation currently being fed to the American people.

Neither Reiner nor his handlers have revealed the “facility” he entered, but one might reasonably conclude that he now has access to liberal quantities of mood stabilizers and anti-psychotic medications.

DeGeneres and “Wife” Flee

Thrown off television after employees alleged that she mistreated them, DeGeneres and her “wife,” Portia de Rossi, have fled the United States, TheWrap reported.

The two are living in the Cotswolds in rural England, about 70 miles northwest of London.

The lesbians “put their Montecito estate on the market and plan to never return to the United States, telling friends the election of Donald Trump was their primary motivation,” a source told the website:

Though the incoming Republican administration was the cited catalyst, a fresh start couldn’t hurt: DeGeneres has been open about being ‘kicked out of show business’ after reports of toxic workplace behavior at the syndicated Ellen show in 2022.

The Scepter’d Isle might have been an easy destination for the lesbians because de Rossi is Australian. She can live in England for up to six months without a visa.

While the mannish DeGeneres has fled, other celebrities have merely threatened to depart.

Washed-up warbler Barbra Streisand told late-night, hate-Trump talker Stephen Colbert last October she would abandon America if POTUS 45 became POTUS 47.

Asked how she would “feel about the specter of a second Trump administration,” Streisand said, “I will move. I can’t live in this country if that’s — if he became president.”

The once-popular chanteuse said she would “probably [move] to England. I like England.”

That’s what she said in 2016, too, Newsweek noted. “I’m either coming to your country, if you’ll let me in, or Canada,” she told 60 Minutes Australia back then.

Yet another has-been who threatened to leave the country if Trump won again was Cher.

“I almost got an ulcer the last time [Trump was in office],” she told The Guardian last month. “If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave [the country].”

Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone is ready for a move to Italy, she said in July.

“I am certainly considering a house in Italy,” Stone told DailyMail.com. “I think that’s an intelligent construct at this time. This is one of the first times in my life that I’ve actually seen anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression.”

Reiner’s reaction and that of other celebrities, which suggest that Trump Derangement Syndrome is a serious contagion among brainwashed far-left celebrities, isn’t surprising. Harris and her Media Information Ministry repeatedly and falsely said that women’s “reproductive rights” were at stake this election. They compared Trump to Hitler, and Harris called him a “fascist.” Harris was a shoo-in, they said. Another Trump presidency, they guaranteed, was an impossibility. Then the returns came in.

The hate-Trump propaganda was so effective that political analyst Mark Halperin told Tucker Carlson to expect a major mental-health crisis if Trump won, which is what Halperin predicted. The former chief of ABC’s political news even correctly predicted that Trump might win all seven battleground states.

Halperin predicted “violence,” “workplace fights,” and “fights at kids’ birthday parties.”

So Reiner’s check-in at a “facility” isn’t surprising.
