The pro-Chicom head of the World Health Organization confessed to a colleague that the Covid-19 virus sprung from a lab that lost control of the potentially-deadly pathogen.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus spilled the beans to a top European politician, the Daily Mail reported. Yet Tedros still publicly says he doesn’t know the origin of the microbe.
Tedros hasn’t revealed anything new. Top U.S. scientists, including Anthony Fauci, who runs the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, knew the truth from the beginning of the pandemic. But they dismissed it as a debunked “conspiracy theory.” The leftist mainstream media enthusiastically pushed that lie.
The latest admission puts to rest any lingering doubt about the origin of the Asiatic germ.
Confided in Politician
“While publicly the group maintains that ‘all hypotheses remain on the table’ about the origins of Covid, the source said Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organisation (WHO), had recently confided to a senior European politician that the most likely explanation was a catastrophic accident at a laboratory in Wuhan, where infections first spread during late 2019,” the Mail reported:
The WHO was initially criticised for its deferential approach to China over the pandemic, as well as a willingness to accept Beijing’s protestations that claims of a laboratory leak were just a “conspiracy theory.”
However, in the absence of any compelling evidence of “zoonotic” spread — the process by which a virus leaps from animals to humans — it is now adopting a more neutral public stance.
The “evidence” has always supported a lab leak, despite the globalist Deep Stater’s claims that “we do not yet have the answers as to where it came from or how it entered the human population.”
All hypotheses must remain on the table until we have evidence that enables us to rule certain hypotheses in or out. This makes it all the more urgent that this scientific work be kept separate from politics. The way to prevent politicisation is for countries to share data and samples with transparency and without interference from any government. The only way this scientific work can progress successfully is with full collaboration from all countries, including China, where the first cases of SARS-CoV-2 were reported.
Fauci, Others Knew
Why Tedros continues to pretend that the virus’ origin is a mystery we cannot know.
But we can and do know the truth. U.S. officials, including Fauci, who recently contracted the virus, strongly suspected a lab leak from the beginning of the pandemic in early 2020.
Internal government documents and emails have shown that Fauci and others collaborated on a journal article that said the opposite; that the pathogen jumped from bats to humans.
Though Fauci — and others — knew the virus was “potentially engineered” at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the longtime and highest paid federal bureaucrat retailed the lie that a lab leak was just a “conspiracy theory.” The State Department didn’t want to “open a can of worms.”
The reason? To protect China and its out-of-control mad scientists from public scrutiny that would expose potentially-catastrophic gene-forwarding experiments. Those experiments turn naturally-occurring viruses into super pathogens. It wouldn’t do for Americans to learn they paid for the sickness that was killing them and shut down the economy.
In October last year, NIAID’s parent, the National Institutes for Health, was forced to admit that Fauci and his boss, former NIH chieftain Francis Collins, lied in testimony to the U.S. Senate when they said U.S. taxpayers had not subsidized those experiments.
One of the first credible alarms about a possible lab leak came from Nicholas Wade, a former science writer for The New York Times. Writing for the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists in May last year, Wade reported that the poorly-run lab in Wuhan conducted the gene-forwarding experiments.
Once the virus escaped the lab in late 2019, it quickly spread to participants in the Military World Games held in Wuhan.
In May 2020, Fox News’s Brett Baier reported that U.S. officials suspected a lab leak.
In September 2021, top scientists wrote a letter to Britain’s Lancet to say that a lab leak was a plausible hypothesis.
By then, Fauci’s lies about funding the Wuhan lab’s gene-forwarding experiments had been exposed. After that, it was only a matter of time before the truth surfaced about his role in squelching the truth about the lab leak.
And now, the head of the WHO has admitted it.
Time for Red China to pay up.
