Far-left Democrats are hysterical and are threatening war in the streets because President Donald Trump has permitted Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to get a look inside the sausage factory.
With Musk’s team uncovering billions in wasteful spending and telling Americans exactly where their money has been going — much of it toward promoting sexual perversion abroad — the far Left is not only angry, but threatening the DOGErs.
Top Democrats say they are “at war” and ready to “fight in the streets.”
A Boston University employee posted a death threat to DOGErs on Bluesky and is now under investigation by federal authorities.
How much Democratic rhetoric motivated Jared May’s crazed post is unclear. But Democrats certainly didn’t discourage him.
Democrats Unhinged, Part 1
The overheated rhetoric over Trump’s moves appears to have come first from House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York, who warned that he and his supporters, presumably including the gang behind him, were ready to rumble:
We’re going to keep focused on the need to look out for everyday New Yorkers and everyday Americans who are under assault by an extreme MAGA Republican agenda that is trying to cut taxes for billionaire donors and wealthy corporations and then stick New Yorkers and working-class Americans across the country with the bill.
That, of course, is typical Democratic rhetoric and nothing new. But then the far-left radical added this threat:
We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. And we’re going to fight it in the streets.
“Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has yet to apologize for his violent and incendiary rhetoric,” House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R) of Minnesota wrote on X. “Now his members are following suit.”
Emmer reposted video of Democratic Representative LaMonica McIver of New Jersey, who wants to shutter Washington, D.C. McIver, to put it mildly, ranted and raved like a lunatic.
“We will not take this,” she said. “We will fight back.”
Continued McIver:
G*ddammit, shut down the city. We are at war. Anytime a person can pay $250 million into a campaign, and then been given access, full access, to the Department of Treasury of the United States of America, we are at war.
DOGE’s tracking where tax money is going seems to be the main complaint of the Democrats.
“We cannot allow Elon Musk and a small group of people to secretly, behind closed doors, take away our privacy, take away our dollars, take away everything we have,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer:
We are gonna fight this fight. I am gonna stand with you in this fight. And we will win, we will win, we will win, we will win, we will win.
Bouncing up and down with raised arms and clenched fists, the New York Democrat led a chant of “we won’t rest.”
Democrats Unhinged, Part 2
The rant from Democratic Representative Maxine Waters of California, who appeared next to Schumer, was a disjointed pastiche of outright lies and disinformation that is self-evidently false.
“We’ve got to tell Elon Musk nobody elected your a**,” the angry congresswoman said:
Nobody told you you can get all of our private information. Nobody told you you could be in charge of the payments of this country. We have told you, you’ve made enough money off our government yourself and now you want to take everybody else’s payroll and make sure that they don’t make the kind of money that you have made.
Oh, you want to use our money to go to Mars. No, we wanna use our money right here in Washington, D.C., in this country. We want to make sure that all of our federal employees are protected. We’ve got to make sure that you know and understand nobody elected you.
Asking whether Musk thinks he’s president, or “co-president,” Waters said, “You got another thought coming. We’re gonna stop you, right now.”
Trump, Musk, and the “billionaires have decided they’re gonna put us all in our place,” Waters fumed:
They’re gonna run this country. They’re gonna make sure that they take over everything. Are we gonna let them do that? Are we gonna let them run this government in the way that they can make even more money? And so they won’t stop. It is so brazen. Every day, they’re taking new actions. They‘re taking executive actions. Every day, they’re doing something. Do you know that Trump and the billionaire class have created more cryptocurrency [that’s] going into their pockets? … The moneymakers are in charge, they think.
Noting that Musk’s office is in her 43rd District, she said he wants to build a tunnel directly from his office to the San Bernardino airport so he won’t have to mingle with the “measly people.”
In fact, Musk proposed underground rail to the airport to alleviate traffic, a project from which he later pulled out. He proposed similar tunnels for Los Angeles.
“[Musk] is a low down, dirty, no good person, along with Trump, that cannot be trusted,” Waters concluded.
Democrats Unhinged, Part 3
Senator Ed Markey (D) of Massachusetts, who landed in the House of Representatives in 1976, was mild in comparison. He only wants “millions” to descend upon Washington, D.C.
“This is the time when we have to stand up and to fight,” he said:
To not stand on the sidelines. To have people by the millions, people by the millions are gonna have to stand up and protest. When we come back here the next time, there should be hundreds of thousands and millions of people descending on Washington, D.C.
Discussing the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), a key target of the DOGErs because of its fraud, abuse, and waste of taxpayer money, Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.) did all but claim it kept the planet from descending into a dark night of chaos and anarchy.
“USAID saves lives, makes peace, protects our planet, stabilizes our world, does great work,” he said, calling for the crowd to cheer for its grifting bureaucrats:
If DOGE wins and and our foreign aid is completely shut down, if Elon Musk wins and our foreign assistance completely ends, who will cheer and who will win? The cartels will win. Terrorists will win. Russia will win. China will win. This effort is not efficient. It is not sane. It is not respectful. And it does not make America safe.
USAID also funds the spread of atheism, homosexual and “transgender” propaganda, and riots in nations the Deep State has targeted for regime change.
So, on the other hand, if DOGE wins, so do American taxpayers.
Boston U Techie in Trouble
But at least those Democrats aren’t encouraging the murder of the DOGErs who have pulled the government’s wasteful spending out of the closet.
Jared May, an employee at Boston University (BU), posted on Bluesky a wanted “dead or alive” poster with the names and faces of DOGErs.
The threat went viral after Charlie Kirk posted it to X.
Now, federal authorities are investigating.
“May works at the Questrom School of Business at BU, and his employee page appeared to have been taken down,” Boston.com reported. “In a statement, a BU spokesperson said ‘we are aware of a post made by an employee on his personal social media account.’”
The school said it does not support May’s post.
The U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., Edward Martin, Jr., told the website that “certain individuals and/or groups have committed acts that appear to violate the law in targeting DOGE employees.”
The FBI is investigating.
Leah Foley, the U.S. attorney for Massachusetts, told the website, “We take those threats seriously.”
