Libs Shocked That Muslim Countries Rejected Homosexual Cruise — Some Blame Trump

The Love Boat it ain’t. It’s not enjoying the high ratings that old show once did, either — at least not in the Muslim countries rejecting it.

At issue, of course, is the “homosexual cruise” that was first denied docking privileges in Turkey, then in Egypt. Of course, though, that’s actually no surprise. But something else is.

Some leftists are shocked — shocked, I tell you — that Muslim countries wouldn’t allow an “LGBTQ” group on their shores.

What’s more, other leftists are blaming President Donald Trump for the rejection. (Apparently, Muslim nations obey his every whim. Just consider the Strait of Hormuz situation…)

And some observers point out the irony. Approximately 80 percent of sexual devolutionary (“LGBTQ+”) voters support the Democrats — who facilitate Islamic influence in the United States. Related to this, Hamtramck, Michigan, became in 2021 the first American city with an entirely Muslim government. It later banned the display of the “Pride” flag on public property. Was this Trump’s fault, too?

Note that the Hamtramck Muslim officials are Democrats — and they banned the flag in 2023, under the Joe Biden administration.

Having “a Gay Old Ti-i-i-i-ime!” — but Not Like the Flintstones

Reporting on the cruise blues Sunday — and citing entertainer Patti LuPone’s “outrage,” which amplified the story — commentator Andrea Widburg wrote:

LuPone is a true Broadway star, having originated the diva role of Eva Perón in the musical Evita, before Madonna came along. She’s also done turns in movies and TV shows. She’s a genuine talent, and she knows where a large part of her fan base comes from: Gay men.

Naturally, then, LuPone was happy to make a guest appearance on a gay-themed cruise carrying … around 2,000 LGBTQ+ passengers across the Mediterranean. The cruise ran into a hitch, though, when it tried to dock in the Turkish port town of Kuşadası, the gateway to Ephesus. …

It turns out that the Kuşadası port authorities thought it was a very bad idea to have 2,000 LGBTQ+ people descend on the local community….

Can’t imagine why? Maybe the below is the reason. (And Muslim countries do, by and large, access the same internet we do.)

Whatever the case, the Kuşadası officials issued a press release on X explaining their decision.

Here is X’s auto-translation of the statement:

PRESS RELEASE

The organization, planned by groups known for behaviors that do not align with the structure of our society and our moral values and which has come to the agenda in the press and broadcast organs and social media platforms, to dock a cruise ship rented by these groups at Aydın Kuşadası Port on July 7, 2026, and which has caused great discomfort in various segments of our society, has been canceled. It is absolutely out of the question for the said group to come to our province with an organization of the specified nature.

The canceled voyage in question consists of an individual organization and has no connection whatsoever with other voyages organized to our province’s port.

The tourism activities aimed at introducing and hosting the historical, cultural, and natural riches of our province to domestic and foreign visitors from various regions of the world continue intensively. The visits and activities carried out within the scope of cruise tourism, which holds an important place in our province’s tourism and in which our Kuşadası district holds a leading position in our country, are being continued in the manner that our province’s residents and tourism operators have been accustomed to for years.

Respectfully announced to the public.

Now, the reactions from Muslim X respondents were largely positive. Shockingly, too, they didn’t credit Trump for the policy (what ingrates!). Rather, common were variations on what X user Yahya Demir posted:

May Allah be pleased with you, esteemed governor.

The Western leftist reaction, however, was a tad different — and often reflected being comically out of touch. To quote Widburg again, the aforementioned LuPone,

who has seemingly managed to be completely ignorant about [Islamic] doctrine, despite its being regularly thrust in our face since 9/11, was shocked! She’d entirely missed the fact that, even though pederasty is rife in the Islamic world (because men raping boys is not considered homosexuality), man-on-man homosexuality is a capital crime in the Koran, and sharia nations enforce it.

As LuPone wrote on Instagram:

I am shocked.

The Atlantis cruise I am performing on next week has been banned from entering Turkey. A ship — a magnificent ship — full of gay men. And me. Denied entry to Turkey simply because of who is on board. I am furious…

To be clear, Lupone might issue such a statement whether she’s shocked or not. She isn’t going to say, after all, “Well, what do you expect from Muslim countries!” That’s too un-woke.

But the reactions of some homosexual leftists were truly amusing. As Widburg reposted on X:

And pointing out the irony of these sexual devolutionary leftists’ anti-Israel passion, the commentator mentions that the Jewish nation is “one of the most homophilic countries in the world.”

Then there’s the sexual devolutionary cruise passenger below, who’s probably not alone in blaming Trump.

In Every Joke There’s Some Truth — Sometimes a Lot

Not surprisingly, those who’d blame Trump and blind themselves to Islamic reality were savaged on social media (examples below).

Other users illustrated the sexual devolutionary reality in Muslim lands (below).

Of course, yet other Americans might react to this story a bit differently. “Even a broken clock,” they may say, “is right twice a day.”
