Gallup: Americans Growing More Socially Conservative

Gallup learned from its annual Values and Beliefs survey conducted last month that Americans in general are getting more and more socially conservative:

More Americans this year (38%) say they are very conservative or conservative on social issues than said so in 2022 (33%) and 2021 (30%). At the same time, the percentage saying their social views are very liberal or liberal has dipped to 29% from 34% in each of the past two years….

The last time this many Americans said they were socially conservative was 2012, during a period when consistently more U.S. adults identified as conservative rather than liberal on social issues.

And it’s no wonder, as those pushing the LGBTQ agenda apparently have pushed Americans too far. Enough is enough, many are saying, and it’s showing up at Gallup.

The headlines everywhere are showing it:

Allison Sullivan, with a million TikTok followers, noted, “This Pride Month [reflects] the ‘Revolt of the Normies’, a pushback against the perceived extreme expressions of gender fluidity.”

It isn’t just Bud Light, Target, or Kohl’s, either. For many the last straw was the Dodgers’ endorsement of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, which has decimated — and continues to decimate — attendance at home games. And even Starbucks, the leading light in the Pride parade, is reported to have pulled celebratory decorations from their stores.

Added Sullivan:

[The LGBTQ agenda] seems to call for a complete denial of innate human nature and demands uniform acceptance of this radical concept.

Instead of seeking tolerance or privacy, the new transgender movement insists on breaking every societal and institutional boundary, from bathrooms to sports to elementary classrooms.

Every boundary, indeed. Consider the following “celebrations”:

Bisexual Health Awareness Month

International Transgender Day of Visibility

National LGBT Health Awareness Week

National Transgender HIV Testing Day

Non-Binary Parents Day

Lesbian Visibility Day

International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, & Biphobia

Harvey Milk Day

Pansexual & Pan Romantic Awareness & Visibility Day

Non-Binary Awareness Week

International Drag Day

LGBTQ History Month (not to be confused with Pride Month)

International Lesbian Day

National Coming Out Day

National LGBT Center Awareness Day

Asexual Awareness Week

International Pronouns Day

Transgender Parent Day

Pansexual Pride Day

Gay Uncles Day

There are more, no doubt, but these “celebrations” prove the point: The “Pride” agenda is castigating societal norms and pushing the weird, strange, and demonic into Americans’ faces, and Americans have had a bellyful.

“The bottom line,” said Dr. Michael Brown, “is that LGBTQ+ activists have basically said: ‘No matter how much ground you give us and no matter how much you embrace us, it is never enough. We will continue to push the envelope.’”

Americans are sick of it. As Allison Sullivan expressed it: “If American institutions continue to indulge in such extremes, they may learn that sometimes, Pride Month can indeed goeth before the fall.”

The Gallup survey may just be the first warning of that coming fall.
