Violent protests, looting, and rioting have been taking place in cities throughout the country for days following the death of George Floyd at the hands of police, as mounting evidence continues to indicate that these so-called protests are not organically grown, but are being orchestrated by dangerous and well-funded groups such as Antifa and Black Lives Matter. In areas of civil unrest, pallets of bricks have reportedly been placed, presumably to be used as weapons of destruction by looters when the sun goes down.
A tweet by the Kansas City Police confirmed as much on Sunday:
We have learned of & discovered stashes of bricks and rocks in & around the Plaza and Westport to be used during a riot. If you see anything like this, you can text 911 and let us know so we can remove them. This keeps everyone safe and allows your voice to continue to be heard.
A spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department said the source of the bricks has not yet been discovered, but it is likely they were intended for “nefarious use.”
“I don’t know who would have put them there. I don’t think they’re doing any type of construction or anything like that. I sense that they’re probably there for nefarious use,” Captain David Jackson told reporters on Sunday.
Video footage in New York City has also captured images of random brick placement. The NYPD’s deputy commissioner of intelligence and counterrorism, John Miller, told reporters the department has a “high degree of confidence” that “anarchist groups planned violent interactions and vandalism.”
“Complex networks of scouts were in place to direct breakaway groups to commit vandalism with rocks and accelerants,” he said, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Bricks had also been discovered near protests in Minneapolis, where Floyd died, as well as Frisco and Dallas, Texas, and Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Twitter user Balance posted a photo of roughly $3,600 worth of bricks found in the Tom Thumb parking lot near downtown Dallas by Victory Park. He asked, “Who’s paying for this?” However, other Twitter posts show older photos of the same site and the same pile of bricks, implying the bricks in this particular instance had been there for several months.
Breaking911, a Twitter handle with nearly 700,000 followers, tweeted that “videos continue to surface showing protesters stumbling upon pallets of bricks or pavers in areas with no construction taking place,” Fox News reports.
As noted by New Zealand’s News Hub, the stashes of bricks have attracted particular attention given that they have been far from any construction sites.
People have taken to Twitter to speculate on the placement of the bricks.
Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk tweeted, “Who put this nice stack of bricks in the middle of the street so rioters could have material to destroy our cities? This is organized terror happening on the streets of our nation. Who is funding it? Maybe the FBI should be investigating this instead of playing politics.”
A Dallas Instagram user posted a photo of a large stash of bricks found in front of the city’s courthouse: “The Dallas protest was a lot of things. But I was very disappointed to see this random stack of bricks in front of the courthouse. #SetUp.”
The UK’s Daily Mail reports that theories about the brick pallets suggest they were planted by police or by extremists. Given that the extreme violence at these riots have been used against the police, it seems difficult to believe the pallets would be placed by police, unless the officers were working with extremist groups to achieve an end.
The main suspect continues to be ANTIFA, funded in part by radical globalist billionaire George Soros.
According to the Jewish Voice, social media captured video footage of a white member of ANTIFA “handing out money to young African American protesters in NYC.”
The riots appear to be a page right out of Soros’ playbook. Soros’ $33 million contribution to the riots and media attention following the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson has been well-documented.
Leaders in some of the riot-ravaged cities have noted that the agitators are not local but have come in from out of state.
“The people that are doing this are not Minneapolis residents,” Minneapolis Mayor Frey said of the protests on Saturday. “They are coming in largely from outside of the city, from outside of the region.” Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter also confirmed after a night of protests that every person arrested was from out of state, Forbes reports.
