An Army captain who filed criminal charges against the commanding general of Fort Benning over pushing non-licensed Covid vaccines has been admitted to Fort Benning’s mental hospital for a “health crisis.”

The captain’s friends and family are concerned that the Army is trying to punish and silence him for taking a stance against the military vaccine mandate.

As reported by Gateway Pundit, on April 4, the captain went to the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to file a complaint against the commanding general, Major General Patrick Donahoe. The captain’s criminal complaint against Donahoe claimed that the latter was mandating vaccinations with vaccines that have not been licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The officer at the CID went on to consult with his supervisor, leaving the captain waiting for an hour and a half. The criminal division decided not to register a complaint, sending the captain for an emergency mental-health evaluation.

According to the report,

The captain’s command sent someone to pick him up from CID to escort him back to the brigade where the deputy commanding officer stated the captain was being sent to EBH (Behavioral Health) for an emergency evaluation) to ensure he wasn’t a danger to himself or others. He was then escorted to the ER for a drug test.

As a part of his “evaluation,” the captain was asked such questions as his opinion on the January 6 events in Washington, D.C., and the validity of the 2020 elections. “She [the provider] kept saying that he [he captain] was [a] part of the ‘organization’ while trying to tie the narrative to him being an extremist,” per the report.

As a result of evaluation, the provider established that the captain’s previous traumatic brain injury (TBI) and “this incident” proved he was having a “health crisis.” The captain was then placed in a hospital “for monitoring and treatment.”

The outlet’s sources, presumably the unnamed captain’s family and friends, say that he is healthy and was placed in the hospital for reasons that have nothing to do with his health. They say,

The captain is of sound mind, and he has complied and not been violent in any way. The chain of command, all the way from the commanding general Major General Patrick Donahoe on down, has weaponized the mental health system on Fort Benning to remove this Captain from his family and silence him in his pursuit of accountability for the criminal behavior of the installation’s commanding general.

According to federal law, the military can mandate vaccinations only with fully licensed vaccines.

On August 24, 2021, the Department of Defense commanded all troops to receive Covid vaccinations, following the FDA’s approval of Pfizer-BioNTech’s Comirnaty vaccine to be used in people aged 16 and older.

The DOD memo establishing the vaccine mandate reads,

Mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 will only use COVID-19 vaccines that receive full licensure from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in accordance with FDA-approved labeling and guidance.

The department allowed servicemen to voluntarily take any other Covid vaccine that has been granted an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the FDA or any vaccine that has been endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO) to meet the new requirement.

While the FDA’s decision cleared the legal way for the military vax mandate, the fully licensed Comirnaty is not available in the United States, and won’t be at least until 2025, according to attorney Tom Renz.

The FDA stated that Comirnaty and Pfizer-BioNTech unnamed shots have the same formulation and can be used “interchangeably to provide the vaccination series,” yet they are “legally distinct.” Notably, that part was at some point removed from the FDA’s page.

To circumvent this situation, the DOD has been allegedly relabeling Pfizer “regular” shots as fully approved Comirnaty.

On October 21, 2021, Dr. Robert Malone, who has ties with the military community, tweeted, “I have been told by DoD medical personnel on Oahu that DoD is relabeling the Pfizer EUA product as ‘Comirnaty’ to get around USG law that .mil cannot be forced to take unlicensed vaccines. If true, this is yet more illegal fraud by the ‘Brandon’ team which should be prosecuted.”

Speaking with The New American on the matter, the doctor maintained,

They got a Colonel to write a set of orders that are clearly illegal, that all military personnel have to be vaccinated with a vaccine that’s not licensed, which is illegal. And what they’re doing is telling the military, “Oh, we’re giving you the licensed vaccine Comirnaty.” But that vaccine doesn’t exist.

He went on to say that while putting “Comirnaty” labels on the experimental Pfizer vaccines is a felony, the government and the DOD “don’t care.”

“The law is no longer relevant. We have a government that is out of control,” Malone added.

Similarly, while the FDA gave full approval to a Moderna Covid shot that will be marketed as Spikevax and used on people 18 and older on January 31, 2022, it is not physically present in the United States. The FDA used the same language to describe the difference between the two shots, saying that the formulation is identical, yet the “regular” Moderna shot is still legally administered under the EUA.

According to the DOD memo leaked in mid-February, the American military may soon lose as many as 38,700 of its active-duty troops and more than 1,300,000 of all contractors and civilian support over non-compliance with the Covid vaccine mandate.
