How much do you know about the Vietnam War? Seriously, how much do you really know?

No matter how much or little you do know (perhaps, unlike me, you were born long after the war ended), don’t expect major media coverage of the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975 to enlighten you.

Why? Because the major media lied to the American people about Vietnam both before and during our military intervention, and the same media has continued to perpetuate the same false narrative right up to the present day. In fact, because of this false narrative, much of what many Americans know about the war is flat-out wrong. For example:
