Transgender Ideologues: Crossing the Finish Line
“Anything boys can do, girls can do better!” Plainly woke, right? Try this one on for size: “Anything girls can do, transgender girls can do better!” As absurd as this sounds, this is precisely the new hypothesis being fleshed out in athletics. Permitting biological men to compete against biological women in sports — and the government’s enforcement thereof — is unmitigated relativism, and, ultimately, Marxism.
On February 27, a district court in Minnesota ruled in favor of JayCee Cooper against USA Powerlifting (USAPL) after a discrimination case by Cooper was brought against the athletic organization for prohibiting him from competing. Cooper — a transgender female, or, factually speaking, a male — filed suit against USAPL stating that his inability to contend against biological women was sex and sexual-orientation discrimination on the accounts of public accommodation, business, and aiding and abetting violations of the Minnesota Human Rights Act.
The Minnesota legislation, which was the basis for Cooper’s case, “prohibits discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, public services, education, credit, and business based on protected class, such as: race, religion, disability, national origin, sex, marital status, familial status, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity.”
