Gloria’s Gladiators

An electrician in Woburn, Massachusetts, has raised more than $100,000 to repair the home of a local senior citizen in desperate need, CBS News reported.

John Kinney was called to 72-year-old Gloria Scott’s home in early August to fix a broken ceiling light, but he was shocked to discover her home needed significantly more repairs than that. Kinney said she had few working lights, no running water, no Internet, and no cellphone.

Kinney told CBS News he could not get Scott out of his mind when he left her house that day.
