Clinton’s Crimes
Your excellent recent article on President Clinton’s transgressions and subsequent impeachment (“Clinton Impeachment: Should Treason Have Been the Reason?” December 9, 2019 issue) omitted an important fact.
In 1996, the Chinese hacked into our system and stole plans for our advanced new W-88 nuclear warhead. Clinton was so embarrassed that he falsely fingered Los Alamos scientist Wen Ho Lee as the culprit. Lee then won a large settlement for the suffering caused by the false allegations. (See page 254 in Sharyl Attkisson’s The Smear, 2017.)
