Government-caused Housing Problems
For almost 30 years, I have lived in a very peaceful condominium-neighborhood where until recently there was no crime. Today, the same condominium-neighborhood is infested with crime caused by Section 8s and immigrants who don’t belong here. (Section 8 rentals accept tenants who are government-subsidized to pay their rent.) The lawlessness has been going on for three years.
The fact is that my condominium-neighborhood has had more crime in the past three years than it has ever had before. The multi-cultural abundance of Section 8s (sanctioned illegal immigrants, alcoholics, drug addicts, the mentally deranged, ex-convicts, registered sex offenders) in my condominium-neighborhood also exists in every other designated Section 8 condominium-neighborhood in America.
I am sure others would not want these characters living in their neighborhoods. Yet because of socialist legislators, many Americans are suffering: Criminals and illegal immigrants get more benefits and preferences than the decent American taxpayer — while American senior citizens often struggle to afford housing, the socialists throw money at poor illegal immigrants. This is America today.
