GOP Senator Says No to Further Funding for Ukraine

Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul disagrees, and additionally notes that Ukraine has announced cancellation of its next presidential election, which is not a good sign for a nation that wants others to view it as a stable democracy.
New Study Suggests Global Warming Could Be an Urban Phenomenon
“It is well-known that cities are warmer than the surrounding countryside. But many of the weather stations used for calculating global temperatures are located in urban areas…. In their latest report, the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) estimated that urban warming accounted for less than 10 percent of global warming. However, this new study suggests that urban warming might account for up to 40 percent of the warming since 1850.”
