Minutes into a news conference at this year’s NATO summit in Washington, D.C., President Joe Biden mistakenly called Vice President Kamala Harris by the wrong name. Less than an hour earlier at an event celebrating the Ukraine Compact, he made a similar gaffe, introducing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”

“Kamala Harris got her start in politics by sleeping with Willie Brown. She became Vice President because Biden needed a non-white female on the ticket. Now she likely becomes the Democratic nominee for president because the guy at the top of the ticket has dementia. She’s made a career out of begging for hand-outs from powerful men. A thoroughly unimpressive human being.”
Popular conservative commentator Matt Walsh posted this message on X after Joe Biden’s July 21 announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsing his vice president instead.

Vance (R-Ohio) now blames media propaganda about Donald Trump for his own past negative comments aimed at the former president — among them, the above quote from an April 2016 interview with The New York Times. Two days after the July 13 attempt on his life in Pennsylvania, Trump named Vance as his running mate.
