Monthly Magazine, Weekly Report
Yes, just three issues from now, The New American, now published twice per month, will become a monthly publication.
Transitioning the print TNA to a monthly is actually the second phase of our plans to make the magazine more useful for our subscribers. Our first phase you should already have noticed, though we have not identified it as such in these pages until now. That is the February launch of our new Insider Report, which is being emailed free of charge — and will continue to be emailed free of charge — to all TNA subscribers as part of their subscription.
Until now, TNA magazine has offered our readers an unusual amalgamation of a news magazine, which normally is published every week, and a more in-depth journal, which normally is published monthly or less frequently. Though this hybrid approach has worked well for us in the past, we believe we can serve our subscribers even better by focusing on news development in one publication, and providing a more in-depth understanding in another — with the frequency of each publication tailored to fit the specific purpose of that publication.
